Iranian Cleric: U.S., Europe Will Become Islamist in Another Few Decades; Most American Women Would Rather Have a Dog and a Toyota than a Husband

In recent speeches, Ahmad-Hossein Sharifi, deputy chairman and research director at the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute, discussed the dangers presented by the West to Iran's Shi'ite society. He said that the West had decided to undermine this society by disseminating its corrupt, immoral, and anti-Islam culture, and that it was targeting Iran in particular – because Shi'ite Iran, unlike the Sunni Wahhabi Saudi Arabia, was the center of the pure Islam. Yet despite the West's efforts, Sharifi added, Islam was spreading rapidly in the West, and the U.S. and Europe would become Islamic countries within a few decades.

Hazem Shuman: "Brothers, in all the raids of the Prophet Muhammad – in the course of ten years – less than a thousand polytheists were killed. Consider what the non-Muslims have done, so you can appreciate the compassion of Islam. The Torah describes the wars waged by the Jews, and mentions the number of non-Jews killed: 1,650,000 dead."

Al-Masada, the media company of the jihadi forum Shumoukh Al-Islam, published an article by Sheikh Osama Al-Shihabi, also known as "Abu Al-Zahra Al-Zubaidi," a senior member of the Lebanese jihadi organization Fath Al-Islam, titled "Advice for the Syrian Revolution" and dated November 23, 2011. The article addresses two separate audiences: the Syrian rebels on the one hand, and Syria's jihadi organizations on the other. Shihabi calls on the former to work toward implementing the shari'a in Syria; not to limit themselves to nonviolent action, but to take up arms and wage jihad against the Ba'ath regime; not to trust the U.S., the West, or the secular Syrians, as these have brought the Syrian people nothing but humiliation and corruption; and to rally around the Muslim clerics and the mujahideen. He calls on Syria's jihadi organizations to oust and replace Bashar Assad; to coordinate their activities against the Ba'ath regime with the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI); to take action for the sake of the Muslims in Syria and in order to free the mujahideen imprisoned there, since it is these two groups, especially the prisoners, that will help the jihadi organizations achieve their longed-for victory; to attack Israel in the Golan Heights as soon as the Ba'ath regime is toppled; and to unite their ranks under one Syrian leader.

AQIM Official: The Past Year's Achievements Herald Islam's Victory Over the World and the Establishment of the Islamic Caliphate

On November 18, 2011, the Jihadi website Shumoukh Al-Islam released an audio recording by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) featuring an Eid Al-Adha sermon by Sheikh Abu Hayyan 'Asem, an official in AQIM and a member of the shari'a council. In his sermon, Abu Hayyan states that the past year's achievements in the various arenas of jihad around the world and the revolutions in Arab countries are the harbingers of Islam's imminent victory and rise to global prominence, which herald the establishment of the Islamic Caliphate. He calls on youth in Algeria to fulfill their duty and oust their regime, as their brothers have done in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Syria, and Yemen. Stating that whenever the opportunity presents itself to implement theshari'a anywhere in the world, the West tries to intimidate the Muslims into thinking that it will harm their economic interests, he calls on the Muslims to trust Allah to provide them with their livelihood, as He did in the past when He made them "the wealthiest of men and greatest of kings."
