has anyone's EU pension ever been removed for that reason - perhaps Bernard Connolly after he wrote The Rotten Heart of Europe and was fired?

Mandelson has an EU pension - what he says is justiciable by the ECJ - his pension can go. Ergo....

On Newsnight Paxman, talking to Mandelson about the euro crisis, skewered him by reading out two quotes of his, about how vital it was to join the euro, or we would be left behind.
Mandy tried to brush them away, as if ages ago - Paxman replied "2003 and 2008". Many looked very annoyed and then tried this hilarious, farcical response "But if we had joined, they might not be in this mess now" !!!!!
How come that even politicians with Mandelson's experience, - the supposed Spin King, is unable to understand how ridiculous he must seem.
Ditto Cameron who tonight in his Mansion House speech said "We Euroscpetics............"
Who does this idiot think he is kidding? Real Eurosceptics know he isn't, Europhiles might wonder a bit more - how to annoy both sides.
WHAT HAVE WE DON E TO DESERVE PLONKERS LIKE THIS?
Incidentally, a recent poll found that Mandelson was the least trusted politician of all........
