On August 18, 2012, the website Shumoukh Al-Islam posted a video address by Sheikh Majid bin Muhammad Al-Majid, commander of the Sunni jihad group 'Abdallah 'Azzam Brigades, which is fighting the Syrian regime. In the 15-minute video, dated August 2012 and titled "Message To The Shi'ites In Lebanon," the sheikh calls on the Shi'ites in Lebanon to renounce their leaders' support for the Syrian regime, which is oppressing the Sunnis in Syria, and to refrain from sending their sons to fight alongside this regime. He warns them that, if they do not heed this call, they will be party to this regime's crimes, and will share its bitter fate when it collapses.
