10 Policemen Injured in Belfast Sectarian Riots

'Ten Northern Irish police officers have been injured after sectarian rioting broke out during a republican parade in central Belfast, police officials say.
Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the officers sustained injuries when they tried to separate pro-British Protestant loyalists and rival Catholic protesters, who are opposed to British rule in the province, AFP reported on Sunday.
"At least ten officers have been injured, three of whom have been taken to hospital," said a police spokesman, noting, "Police continue to deal with disorder in the Carlisle Circus, Antrim Road, and Clifton Street areas of North Belfast.'
