Gulbuddin Hekmatyar's Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan is the second largest militia in Afghanistan, after the Taliban. His Eid-ul-Fitr message was published on a Pashtu-language website.

That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter."

AQIM Commander Calls On Algerian People To Help Syrian Refugees In Their Country, Unlike The Algerian Government, Which Humiliates And Neglects Them

MEMRIDaily9112image016.jpg
In a 10-minute audio recording titled "Apology To Our Syrian Brethren," Abu Mus'ab 'Abd Al-Wadoud, commander of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), condemns the Algerian authorities for their "cool reception" of the Sunni Syrians who have fled to Algeria, and accuses them of humiliating and neglecting these refugees who have fled the genocide in Syria. He explains that Algeria's policy stems from an approach that regards revolution as a crime, as reflected in its position on the Tunisian and Libyan revolutions, and now in its support for the murderous Syrian regime under the pretext of non-interference in the affairs of other countries. He calls on the Algerian people not to emulate their government, but to help their Syrian brethren until Syria is restored to its "[rightful] owners and religion." 'Abd Al-Wadoud points out that Islam enjoins the Muslims to help even an infidel who asks for their protection, let alone the monotheist Sunni Syrians who have fled the mass-murder perpetrated by the 'Alawite Syrian regime. He stresses that Islam obligates the Algerians to host the refugees and to help them, especially considering that most of them are women, children and elderly people.

It urges the Muslims in Kenya to come out in defense of their Muslim brethren who are falling victim to "the infidels' deep-seated hatred of Islam and Muslims," else they themselves will fall prey to their government's "evil plots."
