Islamic Awareness Day for Tufts University

by Bill Levinson (originally published on September 11 2008)
Today, September 11, is Militant Islamic Awareness Day: a day to commemorate the achievements of Islamic supremacists throughout history, such as the sack of Khartoum (1885), numerous attempts to invade Europe, and of course the terrorist action that killed 3000 innocent people in 2001.
The concept of September 11 as “Militant Islam Awareness Day” comes from Islam Awareness Week, whose mockery by The Primary Source, the student newspaper at Tufts University, resulted in a Stalinist show trial and disciplinary action from the Committee on Student Life. The show trial was conducted under the supervision ofBarbara Grossmana major donor to the Democratic Party and wife of the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. While under Professor Grossman’s supervision, another CSL member proclaimed that Labeling Islam violent is unacceptable in any way, shape, or form. The following image elaborates on the statement, “Labeling Islam violent is unacceptable in any way, shape, or form,” and it certainly has a lot to say about Tufts University.

Militant Islamic Awareness Week
Islamic Awareness Week is an ongoing project of the Muslim Student Association (MSA), which has chapters at many universities. One web site quotes an organizer as saying, “Islamophobia is causing fear in people’s mind and their heart about Islam, and that’s basically what we are trying to cure.” While most American Muslims are part of the cure, a substantial and vocal minority are unfortunately part of the illness. (Read more…)

Human Rights activists have no moral compass

Assad’s war has claimed four times as many victims in 20 months as have been killed in the Israel-Palestine conflict in the last 20 years.
Last month, a group of Scandinavians pulled up anchor from a Swedish port and set off toward the Middle East under the pretense of delivering humanitarian aid. The Nordic fog may have clouded their choice of destination. The moral compass of these self-proclaimed human-rights activists steered them to the Gaza Strip, not Syria.
The fleets of flotillas, ferries, yachts, sailboats, canoes and catamarans and that have set sail for Gaza in recent years rival the size of the Spanish Armada. Yet one might argue that humanitarian flotillas are needed just a bit more urgently in Syria, where more civilians have been murdered by the Assad regime than those killed during Japan’s 2011 earthquake and tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, and 9/11 combined.

Barack Obama’s Running Mate: A Proven Liar, Coward, and Bully

by Bill Levinson
Originally in the American Thinker
We must say up front that we sympathize with Vice President Biden for the loss of his wife and infant daughter in a 1972 car crash. It is, however, unfortunate that Biden himself lacks the common decency not to misuse and pervert the memory of his spouse and child for political gain, and not to misuse the resources of the U.S. Senate to inflict pain on an innocent family for the same reason. (Read more…)

Syria Turning Into Iranian-Turkish War

There is a point at which a conflict shifts from a proxy war and into an actual war. That would be the point at which both sides are no longer just supplying weapons and intelligence, but are actually on the ground fighting each other.
Iran is all in on the Shiite side of the table. Western intelligence officials say that Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has personally sanctioned the dispatch of the experienced officers to ensure that the Assad regime, Iran’s most important regional ally, survives the threat to its survival.
