Bill Clinton Tried to Block Israel’s Taxing Newly-Found Gas

Former Bill Clinton, the man who unwittingly carried out his promise for a “New Middle East,” worked as a paid lobbyist to pressure Israel against increasing taxes on natural gas from huge off-shore energy fields, former Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz revealed.
Clinton’s wealth is estimated at well over $55 million, making him the richest living president, but no one knows better than him that “enough is never enough,” especially when it comes to “helping” Israel.
One of his most famous “accomplishments” as president was to engineer the signing of the Oslo Accords, with a grinning Yasser Arafat and Yitzchak Rabin at his side on the White House lawn. Clinton promised a “new Middle East,” and we got one when the Oslo Accords literally exploded in Israel’s face in 2002.

Saudi Connection to Boston Bombing Being Whitewashed

Laura: Steve Emerson reveals that the saudi national who they had in the hospital and who’s apartment they searched, is going to be deported on national security grounds. This is obviously a coverup to not only protect the saudis, but the administration’s own culpability for liberally granting visas to saudi “students” along with its recent decision to give special treatment to saudi nationals to enter this country without the proper security checks, people who will be vetted by the saudi government. This jihadist is a member of a prominent saudi family with ties to al qaeda. Earlier John Kerry had a closed-door meeting with the saudis.  Kerry is a man who betrayed his fellow soldiers and his country during Vietnam. So what’s another act of treason to him? They say Israel controls American policy yet Jonathan Pollard languishes in prison for nearly three decades while saudis who murder Americans get sent home days after. Remember the saudis who were flown out of the country after 9/11.  Our government is wholly owned by the saudis.

Principled Dupedom: On the Moral Imperative to be Stupid

One of the major weaknesses of Westerners in the current cognitive war with Islamic imperialism is a seemingly boundless commitment to being fooled. It’s almost as if, on principle, we need to accept lies from the other side as true, lest we be accused of being racist. There are two aspects to this, one, an honor-shame reflex that worries primarily about what others think of us (i.e., we’re not racist, but we’re worried others will think us so), and another, that spending our time suspecting others of deception strikes many of us (justifiably) as a huge waste of time. First let me go over some key examples here, and then come back to these two points.

Turkey’s Regime Fails Abroad, wins at home

A Turkish friend just wrote me that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sold his soul to the Devil. That implies Erdogan is succeeding on every front, as if by magic. More accurately, however, the trick is that Erdogan’s foreign policy is failing on almost every front but he’s able to convince Turks that the situation is the exact opposite.Let’s examine the list of developments in objective terms:
–He has made no progress on membership or integration in the European Union. Similarly, his diplomatic efforts to ease relations with neighboring Armenia have borne no fruit.

–Erdogan has thrown away the virtual alliance with Israel without gaining anything materially in the Arabic-speaking world. Although few seem to understand this point, it was not Israel that groveled in accepting Erdogan’s terms but the exact opposite.

Aliya – the revolution has just begun

It is certainly no coincidence that among the first laws promulgated by the newly reestablished Jewish state was the “Law of Return” mandating that every Jew has a right to return to their ancestral homeland.
Former foreign minister Abba Eban once said: “Zionism is nothing more – but also nothing less – than the Jewish People’s sense of origin and destination in the land linked eternally with its name. It is also the instrument whereby the Jewish nation seeks an authentic fulfillment of itself.”
From biblical times to this very day, Zionism, the national liberation of the Jewish People, has been inexorably linked with aliya, the physical fulfillment of the movement. It is certainly no coincidence that among the first laws promulgated by the newly reestablished Jewish state was the “Law of Return” mandating that every Jew has a right to return to their ancestral homeland.

Adelson, from caricature to life

In the interests of full disclosure, let me first offer that Sheldon Adelson and members of his family donated to my campaign for Congress when I was ran last year (yes, I know I lost. But ‘Shmuley for President 2016’ is just three years away). Furthermore, as was widely reported, he and his wife Miriam donated to an independent Super Pac that backed my candidacy. In addition, on June 4th in Times Square the organization of which I am Executive Director, This World: The Values Network, together with Rambam hospital in Haifa — one of the Middle East’s largest and most respected medical campuses — will be hosting an International Champions of Jewish Values Awards Gala. The honorees are some of the world’s most distinguished individuals, with Nobel Laureate (and my personal hero and mentor) Prof. Elie Wiesel being given the ‘Champion of Jewish Spirit’ award, and my friend Dr. Mehmet Oz, the world’s most famous physician, being recognized as ‘Champion of Human life.’ The award for ‘Champions of Jewish Identity’ will go to Sheldon and Miriam Adelson who are being recognized for their vast contributions to Jewish identity worldwide.
