Russia Spying on Israel for Syria and Hezbollah
Foreign Confidential....An Israeli intelligence official on Friday accused Russia of transmitting intelligence on Israel to Syria and Iran's Shiite Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah.Col. Ram Dor, the IDF’s chief of information security, said Russian spy ships are docking in Syrian waters, and that Russians are working at hi-tech eavesdropping stations in Syria, near the Golan Heights, Israel’s daily Yediot Achronot reported.

"My assessment is that their facilities cover most of the state of Israel's territory," Dor said, according to a citation of the report in Reuters. "So if the Russians help the Syrians get information, and the Syrians constantly pass it on to Hezbollah, it is a reasonable supposition that the information gathered by the Russians also reaches Hezbollah's hands."

Israel Foils Terror Plot

The Israel Security Agency, commonly known as the Shin Bet, recently exposed a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) squad in the Ramallah region that included two Israeli Arabs. The squad was well prepared for an attack on an IDF roadblock north of Ramallah; it also drew up initial plans for assassinations of senior Israeli officials.

Two operatives were young Israeli Arabs from Shfaram, a city in northern Israel . They raised funds to purchase explosives and attempted to contact the PIJ headquarters in Syria.The operatives' interrogation revealed that the Ramallah squad was planning military operations, including attacking an IDF roadblock in Atara (north of Ramallah) and assassinating key Israeli figures (pilots, scientists, lecturers, etc.).

The squad held in its possession weapons and ammunition and was well into preparations for the attack on the IDF roadblock, while the assassination plans were still in their initial stages.

Ayatollah Reveals Iran's Intentions;

Amid reports that the major powers had failed to agree on a new round of UN sanctions against nuclear-arming, terrorist-sponsoring, clerical fascist (Islamist) Iran, the country's top turbaned tyrant and Supreme Clerical Fascist, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said Tehran's hostility to Israel extended beyond the government to the Israeli people.

In saying so, he was dismissing recent propagandistic overtures by top Iranian officials to the Israeli public. Khamenei said Iran and Israel were on a "collision course."

"Who are Israelis?" the Islamo-Nazi told thousands of worshipers gathered for Friday prayers in downtown Tehran. "They are responsible for usurping houses, territory, farmlands and businesses. They are combatants at the disposal of Zionist operatives.

A Muslim nation cannot remain indifferent vis-a-vis such people who are stooges at the service of the arch-foes of the Muslim world."Khamenei's language recalls the Nazi era in that it makes clear that all Jews living in Israel are marked for annihilation.

Just as Hitler essentially outlawed the Jewish people--according to the Nazis, they had no right to exist anywhere on earth--Khamenei is ruling out the possibility of life for every Israeli (i.e. every Jewish Israeli). And that is only a first step.

Like all Islamists, Khamenei believes that his creed calls for the ultimate subjugation or annihilation of all Jews and Christians everywhere on earth, although he was clever enough Friday not to spell that out.
He said Iran has no problem with Judaism or other religions. "But we are on a collision course with the occupiers of Palestine and the occupiers are the Zionist regime. This is the position of our regime, our revolution and our people."Enough said. Iran's Hitlerian regime is clearly close to acquiring atomic weapons--and atomic missiles. Its uranium enrichment breakthrough is at most months away.

The monstrous mullahocracy is aiming for a dramatic announcement in time for the 30th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution (which overthrew the pro-American Shah with the assistance of the catastrophically craven Carter administration).Iran is also clearly preparing for war with the United States and Israel.

The regime intends to destroy the Jewish state, bomb US military bases across the Middle East, and drive the US out of the region for all time. Iran is also planning terrorist attacks against Americans and Jews around the world. US cities are targets.
Aided by North Korea, Iran has developed the capability of launching missiles from cargo ships; the possibility of a nuclear attack on a US coastal city or a crippling electromagnetic pulse attack over the US cannot be discounted.So what is to be done?
Having sent the all wrong signals---including the rise of Barack Hussein Obama and the promotion of Israel's weakest-ever foreign minister, Tzipi Livni, to replace its worst-ever prime minister, Ehud Olmert--the US and Israel must attack Iran now, using any and all necessary weapons, including low-yield, tactical nuclear weapons, to obliterate all known and suspected Iranian missile bases and nuclear sites--and the entire Revolutionary Guard.

It must be utterly destroyed.Imagine how many innocent lives could have been saved had the US had the atomic bomb and dropped it on Berlin at the beginning of World War II.The choice is mass death in iran or mass death in the US and Israel.So nuke Iran before Iran nukes us.

SEC Wants Hedge Funds to Disclose Short Positions
Dateline USA....The financial situation is dire. That's the bad news.

The good news is that the government is trying hard to deal with the crisis in a comprehensive way.Example: the Securities and Exchange Commission proposed a rule Friday that would require hedge funds to disclose their short-sale positions. The SEC also plans to subpoena the funds' communication records.

Hedge funds and investors managing more than $100 million in securities would be "required to promptly begin public reporting of their daily short positions,'' Chairman Christopher Cox said. Aggressive SEC Rules

The proposed disclosure is in addition to aggressive SEC rules that took effect in an attempt to stem some of the worst stock-market slides in years.The SEC said it is halting short selling on 799 financial stocks. The ban, which is effective immediately, is set to last for 10 days, but could be extended for up to 30 days.

The SEC also announced a temporary requirement for large institutional money managers to report short positions in certain stocks, and eased restrictions on corporate stock buy backs, saying that will give companies greater flexibility to buy their own shares and help restore liquidity at a time "of unusual and extraordinary market volatility.
