“No More Stimulus”" Trichet Says “No More Stimulus”
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Jean-Claude Trichet says that instead of Gordon pushing new measures at the G20, governments around the world should move faster on what they’ve already announced. The president of the ECB said Europe doesn’t need to boost spending more to combat the global financial crisis, effectively backing the Tory position that we need time for the monetary stimulus to work and for the already announced measures to be enacted.
