Madonna credits Kabbalah for inspiring African adoption bids
London, August 1 : Madonna has credited her conversion to Jewish mysticism Kabbalah for inspiring her to adopt African children.
The singer, who adopted two children from Malawi, revealed she learned of the plight of AIDS orphans in the African nation when she and a teacher at the Kabbalah Centre were looking to help disadvantaged kids.
The “Material Girl” hitmaker went on to add that it was in her study of the religion that "All of the questions of life I had began to be answered.
"I also began to see that being Rich and Famous wasn''t going to bring me lasting fulfillment and that it was not the end of the journey. That it was the beginning of the journey,” she stated in the paper.
The star also wrote: "All the puzzle pieces began to fall into place. Life no longer seemed like a series of random events. I started to see patterns in my life. I woke up."
