A Year of Tears and Tears

'We are in the midst of a huge occult ceremony. There is clearly an agenda whipping up this Swine influenza A: H1N1 media backspin pandem[on]ic - or panic for short - and for once there is a gathering legion of wised-up medics queuing up to expose it… but it IS vital to know that a pandemic was always on the cards for 2009 and that it IS entirely in accordance with the frequency of this year. It’s something I've mentioned - and written about - before.'

IBM Uses DNA to Make Next Generation Microchips

'International Business Machines Corp (IBM.N) is looking to the building blocks of our bodies -- DNA -- to be the structure of next-generation microchips. As chipmakers compete to develop ever-smaller chips at cheaper prices, designers are struggling to cut costs. Artificial DNA nanostructures, or "DNA origami" may provide a cheap framework on which to build tiny microchips, according to a paper published on Sunday in the journal Nature Nanotechnology.'

Experts Warned Dispersal of Tamiflu Would Do More Harm Than Good

'The government rejected advice from its expert advisers on swine flu, who said there was no need for the widespread use of Tamiflu and suggested that the public should simply be told to take paracetamol. Scalia Says There’s Nothing Unconstitutional About Executing the Innocent.

'Almost two decades ago, Troy Anthony Davis was convicted of murder and sentenced to die. Since then, seven of the witnesses against him have recanted their testimony, and some have even implicated Sylvester “Redd” Coles, a witness who testified that Davis was the shooter. In light of the very real evidence that Davis could be innocent of the crime that placed him on death row, the Supreme Court today invoked a rarely used procedure giving Davis an opportunity to challenge his conviction.

Joined by Justice Clarence Thomas in dissent, however, Justice Antonin Scalia criticized his colleagues for thinking that mere innocence is grounds to overturn a conviction.

Hillary Clinton Seeks to Strengthen US Imperialism’s Position in Africa

'US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 11-day tour of Africa took in seven countries across the continent. Following on from President Obama’s trip to Ghana, her visit highlights his administration’s intention to strengthen the US position in Africa against the challenge of its rivals. “It’s where his blood comes from,” she said, echoing Obama’s words in Ghana when he drew attention to his African ancestry.

In what has become a mantra, she ignored the effects of centuries of depredation and looting and blamed Africa’s present impoverished condition on the lack of “good governance.” She made no acknowledgement of the US role in establishing the corrupt regimes that govern Africa today. Nor did she refer to the part that US-based companies play in feeding the Swiss bank accounts of African politicians and generals.'
