H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic: Iowa Contemplates 'Forced Confinement' in a 'Quarantine Facility'

Brown Tries to Justify Afghanistan Presence

'The British premier tries to justify his country's presence in Afghanistan a day after a ministerial aide resigns over London's role in the war-torn country. "Each time I ask myself if we are doing the right thing by being in Afghanistan and if we can justify sending our young men and women to fight for this cause, my answer has always been yes," Gordon Brown said on a Friday speech to the International Institute for Strategic Studies think-tank in London.'
