Obama's Atomic Circus Aims to Disarm US, Israel
Notwithstanding an apparent achievement--read about it here--President Obama's so-called nuclear security summit is a clever circus that aims (a) to divert attention from his allowing Iran to come closer than ever to acquiring atomic arms, (b) to counter criticism of his revised nuclear policy, which, for the first time, formally assures non-nuclear weapons states that they can attack the United States with biological and chemical weapons without fear of nuclear reprisal, and (c) to set the stage for unprecedented pressure on beleaguered Israel to scrap its presumed nuclear deterrent.

I weep as I witness outrageous verbal attacks on Israel. What makes these verbal assaults and distortions all the more painful is that they are being orchestrated by President Obama.
For me, the situation today recalls what occurred in 70 AD when the Roman emperor Vespasian launched a military campaign against the Jewish nation and its ancient capital of Jerusalem. Ultimately, Masada, a rock plateau in the Judean desert became the last refuge of the Jewish people against the Roman onslaught. I have been to Jerusalem and Masada. From the top of Masada, you can still see the remains of the Roman fortifications and garrisons, and the stones and earth of the Roman siege ramp that was used to reach Masada. The Jews of Masada committed suicide rather than let themselves be taken captive by the Romans.
In Rome itself, I have seen the Arch of Titus with the sculpture showing enslaved Jews and the treasures of the Jewish Temple of Solomon with the Menorah, the symbol of the Jewish state, being carted away as booty during the sacking of Jerusalem.
Oh, you may say, that is a far fetched analogy. Please hear me out.

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, recollecting the slaughter of six million Jews in World War II.
The Associated Press reported that in Israel, “The mournful wail of air raid sirens pierced the air…and the country came to a standstill…” and “Looming over Israel's annual memorial for the Holocaust dead was the country's fear that the world would wake up too late to eliminate the threat of Iran's nuclear program, just as it woke up too late to eliminate the threat of Adolf Hitler.”
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has frequently denied that the Holocaust happened and he has often called for Israel’s destruction. Some government-funded newspapers in Saudi Arabia deny or downplay the Holocaust and the same is true for Hamas terrorists. According to the Associated Press, "Ignorance and even denial of the Holocaust is widespread in Palestinian society,” and "Holocaust denial is still common in the Palestinian territories.” Wherever Israel and Jews have enemies, Holocaust denial appears—not just in the Middle East, but also worldwide, among some anti-Semites.
There are Holocaust-deniers and there are Holocaust-enablers. Those who fail to prevent or stop a Holocaust are enablers.
