OUT-LAW Breakfast Seminars

Dear harold,

The Spring OUT-LAW Breakfast Seminars will take place throughout the month of May. The topic is IT procurement after the EDS ruling which we hope will be of interest to you.

If you or any colleague would like to attend the seminar, please register online.

IT procurement after the EDS ruling

When a court ruled this year that IT supplier EDS should pay BSkyB at least £270 million for fraudulently claiming it could meet deadlines when it couldn't, it sent a shockwave through the industry. But what can suppliers and customers of IT learn from this case?

We have been helping companies with IT procurement since the 1980s. At this event we will review the case and share experiences, tips and best practices of the IT lawyers at Pinsent Masons and explore the contract pitfalls and processes that should be avoided when buying or selling hardware and software.
