Hello everyone. Speculation is rampant regarding what will be the next major event in the Middle East. While most expect a coming conflict between Iran and Israel as described in the Book of Ezekiel - it is possible we may yet see other events that will set the stage for this conflict. A perspective made popular by Bill Salus in his book Isralestine presented the view that Psalm 83 speaks of an Arab/Israeli war in which Israel will victorious and expand it's borders. Could this be the scenario that leads to Ezekiel's famous Gog/Magog War? Dr. Chuck Missler examines this growing view in his latest DVD - The Magog Invasion - An Alternate View. Mosab Yousef continues to make waves in the media as he presents his amazing story of a Muslim convert to Christ. With stories from the inside of news events you have only seen on TV - Yousef will shed new light on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas and its most popular leader, young Mosab assisted his father for years in his political activities while being groomed to assume his legacy, politics, status . . . and power. But everything changed when Mosab turned away from terror and violence, and embraced instead the teachings of another famous Middle East leader. In Son of Hamas, Mosab Yousef—now called “Joseph”—reveals new information about the world’s most dangerous terrorist organization and unveils the truth about his own role, his agonizing separation from family and homeland, the dangerous decision to make his newfound faith public, and his belief that the Christian mandate to “love your enemies” is the only way to peace in the Middle East. However, the conventional view still leaves a number of puzzling inconsistencies and contradictions. Ezekiel 38 indicates that Israel is dwelling safely and ''without walls.'' Yet, with walls being built and missiles landing each day Israel is hardly dwelling in peace.
This leaves us with a puzzling anomaly: the players listed in Ezekiel seem to exclude any of the bordering nations: Where are the Palestinians? The Lebanese? The Syrians? The Iraqis? The Jordanians? The Egyptians? Could there be another scenario detailed in scripture that explains the absence of these nations and in turn sets the stage for the famous Gog/Magog Battle. Psalm 83 would seem to suggest that there is another Arab/Israeli war yet to come - one that will be decisive in changing the face of the region.
If this new perspective is correct - we may be on the horizon of seeing a radically different Middle East.
Mosab Yousef witnessed the behind-the-scenes dealings of top Middle Eastern leaders who make headlines around the world today.
