Our friends, our family, our wives, mothers, fathers children were killed by Islamic jihadists holding the same ideology, believing in the same holy book that will be taught in the Ground Zero mega mosque.
The usual suspects of dhimmis, leftists, haters, supremacists, and commies took to Ground Zero Friday night in support of the Islamic supremacist mosque at Ground Zero. Notice how no one in the media says that such a display is "disrespectful' or "political" (despite the presence of politicians like Margaret Chin.) But the press is critical of patriots gathering to mourn the dead tomorrow. There's reams of newsprint attacking it. Oh the hypocrisy.
SIOA's Pamela Hall undertook the unpleasant task of covering the pro-victory mosque candlelight vigil at Ground Zero on the eve of 911. Once co-conspirator, Hamas linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR, NY's Zead Ramadan,, Islamofanatic 'Rabbi' Feinberg and fired principal of the Islamic public Dabah Almontaser saw Pamela it became an issue (again) that she was taking pictures despite the presence of hundreds of photogs. (watch the slideshow) A police officer and a police captain both approached Pamela and asked her (politely) to stop taking pictures. There was too much chatter going on that she was there, taking pictures and they "didn't want problems." She said, "what problems?" Were they going to 'rumble' or something? Despite her assurances that she wasn't bothered by them, they had her removed.The officer said that he'd do the same for us. Like what? Tell them they can't take pictures at our rally. That makes no sense.
This is not the first time., It happened to be at the Islamist day parade , too. But she ignored the police that day. It was, after all, a parade. What bears noting is these subversives complain and the police take their marching orders from them. The excuse is they don't want any trouble. Of course, we are not causing any trouble. Pamela is just taking pictures. She behaves no differently than any one else there. But they know us and they we know we know them. Our presence is like the silver cross to Dracula.
The fact is, it is the left that menaces. Pamela has been harassed and physically accosted (once in Times Square with a NY Post photographer who was also attacked by these hyenas) and the police let it happen. She has footage of more than one instance. That is the real reason for removing her. They can't or won't protect her right to take pictures. You can bet no lefty photog would ever be told to stop taking pictures at our rallies.

Yes, folks, that's how far down the rabbit hole we have gone in the war of ideas: that race-baiting subversives like Shabazz get to spew their vile fallacious propaganda on national media outlets.
First, ours is not a political rally. We are coming to pay our respects to those beloved Americans lost on 911 and to stand against the Islamic supremacist mosque. The left protests in their ugly fashion at Ground Zero every year. Every year the left hold political rallies of the ugliest stripe. And there has never been so much as one drop of ink written about it. But if patriots intend to gather, the media is in full spin mode.
Secondly, the media created the qu'ran story. The media created the firestorm. The Ground Zero mosque story, on the other hand, came largely to the fore outside the mainstream media. The people drove that story and forced the media to cover it and the politicians to take a stand. The mosque is the people's story. The provocative act of Pastor Jones and his tiny congregation was made a national story by the national media to incite the rhetoric and conflate the Ground Zero mega mosque opposition with incendiary book burning. As I have said, the burning of books is wrong in principle: the antidote to bad speech is not censorship or book-burning, but more speech. Open discussion. Give-and-take. And the truth will out. There is no justification for burning books. If Americans are free and not under Sharia, then the church can do this if it wants, and their freedom and rights should be protected. Islamic supremacists should not be allowed a victory for their violent intimidation -- if these people want to burn a book, they're free to do so. More of my position of the qu'ran burning here.
The opposition to mega mosque on Ground Zero has nothing to do with this although it bears noting that the radical Pastor canceled it, the radical imam did not. Imam Bridge builder building one way bridges.
Nowhere do emotions run higher than in New York, where the proposed Islamic center just two blocks north of ground zero has inflamed passions before the commemoration.
Activists are organizing a pair of rallies — one against the planned Islamic center, one supporting it — to follow New York's official ceremony at a park southeast of the trade center site.
The anti-mosque rally has bitterly divided family members of those who died in the attacks, with some planning to attend the rally and speak, while others denounce it as unnecessary and wrong.
Sally Regenhard, who lost her firefighter son, Christian Regenhard, in the attacks, said she would attend the city ceremony in the morning where the names of the dead are read aloud, as she has done each year since the attacks. Then, she planned to head over to the anti-mosque rally.
"The purpose is to speak out and express our feelings that this mosque, the location of it, is a grievous offense to the sensitivity of 9/11 families," Regenhard said. "There's nothing political about people who want to speak out against something they think is so wrong, so hurtful and so devastating."
But Donna Marsh O'Connor, whose pregnant daughter, Vanessa, was killed in the attacks, supports the mosque. She said she strongly opposes the planned rally and the political motivations behind it.
"It's more of the same hate mongering and fear mongering that's been going on for years," O'Connor said. "People have a right to free speech. But if they're talking about sensitivities to 9/11 families, why are they rallying and doing events on a day we should spend thinking about those we lost?
The rally is being hosted by Pamela Geller, a conservative blogger who has actively opposed the planned Islamic center since the project's inception.
John Bolton, who served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President George W. Bush, was expected to send a videotaped message of support to the rally, as was conservative journalist Andrew Breitbart. Geert Wilders, a Dutch politician who advocates banning the Quran and taxing Muslim women who wear head scarves, planned to address the crowd in person, as do a handful of Republican congressional candidates who have made opposition to the mosque a centerpiece of their campaigns.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Geller said the rally would be "respectful" and was not intended to provoke violence or other inappropriate behavior on what has typically been a somber, mournful anniversary.
"It's a rally of remembrance for tens of thousands who lost loved ones that day," Geller said. "It's not a political event, it's a human rights event."
Former 9/11 Commision chairman Lee Hamilton said the U.S. relationship with the Islamic world "is one of the really great foreign policy challenges of the next decades."
"We're not going to solve it in a year or two or five or even 10 years. The kind of debates we're having today in New York City and Florida and other places reflects that. How do we get right, how do we line up this relationship better than we do," Hamilton said.
New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly told reporters this week his department was prepared for the rally and had already deployed additional security at the mosque site since it's been the target of protests already.
But, Kelly said, police weren't anticipating major problems.
"We have no reason to anticipate violence at these demonstrations. ... There is no indication, no intelligence that would indicate violence occurring," Kelly said.

Why then did Daisy say back in May that the Cordoba Mosque "groundbreaking would coincide with the 10th anniversary of the attacks"? And back on July 23rd, she told the Washington Post, "there is a 'divine hand' in the Ground Zero mosque project,""the building came to us"...it "will be symbolic."
The media is so in the tank for these Islamic supremacists they can say what they want, at any time, no matter how dishonest, with no accountability, and be confident that their shills will report it as fact.
Also note, the khan job admits they they did negotiate with Pastor Jones of the qu'ran burning church and they will be taking a meeting with the pastor. Perfect. Imam Masri was the war time consigliere.
"We do not want to take away from the solemn day of 9/11. Our Center is not about 9/11, the Quran is not about 9/11, we wish to commemorate 9/11 with prayers for the families of the victims," Daisy Khan, wife of Imam Rauf, told Think Progress.
"We reject any comparison to what we are prepared to build in NY and what Pastor was ready to destroy in Florida," Klan added.
Khan said there was no deal made between the mosque and Pastor Terry Jones of a church that plans to burn Qurans on September 11th.
The Pastor responded to the "sensitivity" issue and withdrew.
NEW YORK — The imam and developer behind a plan to build an Islamic center near ground zero are denying reports that there is a deal to move the facility.
A Florida pastor who had threatened to burn copies of the Quran in protest of the center announced Thursday that he had negotiated a deal to have its location changed.
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf issued a statement through his publicist saying that was false, and there had been no negotiations of the sort.
Manhattan real estate developer Sharif El-Gamal also denied that any talks had taken place.
He said the center would go forward as planned.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida imam says no deal has been reached to move the site of a mosque near ground zero in exchange for a Florida minister to call off plans to burn Qurans.
Imam Muhammad Musri tells The Associated Press that what he offered was a meeting among the Rev. Terry Jones, the New York imam planning the Islamic center and himself to talk about the mosque location.
Musri is president of the Islamic Society of Central Florida. He says he told Jones that he does not believe the mosque should be built near the World Trade Center site and would do everything in his power to make sure it is moved.
Jones says he believes a deal was reached to move the mosque and would fly to New York Saturday to discuss it.
The lying imam:
Jones said Imam Muhammad Musri of the Islamic Society of Central Florida told him that officials would guarantee that the mosque would be moved.
"I asked him three times, and I have witnesses," Jones said. "If it's not moved, then I think Islam is a very poor example of religion. I think that would be very pitiful. I do not expect that."
From what I've read, Jones is supposed to be knowledgeable about the Quran and the teachings of Islam. Therefore, he should be aware of kitman.
"Kitman" is close to "taqiyya," but rather than outright dissimulation, it consists in telling only a part of the truth, with "mental reservation" justifying the omission of the rest. One example may suffice. When a Muslim maintains that "jihad" really means "a spiritual struggle," and fails to add that this definition is a recent one in Islam (little more than a century old), he misleads by holding back, and is practicing "kitman." When he adduces, in support of this doubtful proposition, the hadith in which Muhammad, returning home from one of his many battles, is reported to have said (as known from a chain of transmitters, or isnad), that he had returned from "the Lesser Jihad to the Greater Jihad" and does not add what he also knows to be true, that this is a "weak" hadith, regarded by the most-respected muhaddithin as of doubtful authenticity, he is further practicing "kitman." AP reporting: GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 9) -- The leader of a small Florida church that espouses anti-Islam philosophy says he is canceling plans to burn copies of the Quran on Sept. 11.
Pastor Terry Jones said Thursday that he decided to cancel his protest because the leader of a planned Islamic Center near ground zero has agreed to move its controversial location. The agreement couldn't be immediately confirmed.
Jones' plans to burn Islam's holiest text Saturday sparked an international outcry.
President Barack Obama, the top U.S. general in Afghanistan and several Christian leaders had urged Jones to reconsider his plans. They said his actions would endanger U.S. soldiers and provide a strong recruitment tool for Islamic extremists. Jones' protest also drew criticism from religious and political leaders from across the Muslim world.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 9) -- A Christian minister in Florida is canceling plans to burn Qurans on Sept. 11, heeding an international outcry that drew criticism from President Barack Obama and religious and political leaders across the Muslim world.
Donald Trump is offering to buy out one of the major investors in the real estate partnership that controls the site near ground zero where a Muslim group wants to build a 13-story Islamic center.
In a letter released Thursday by Trump's publicist, the real estate investor told Hisham Elzanaty that he would buy his stake in the building for 25 percent more than whatever he paid.
Trump said he was making the offer not because he thought the location was spectacular, but because it would end "a very serious, inflammatory, and highly divisive situation."
My advise? take the jizya and run. If they don't take it, they will reveal themselves even further. Me thinks the thug developer isn't looking forward to an investigation of his meteoric rise from busboy to master of the universe. Neither is his Medicare fraud racketeering partner, Elizanaty.

In another striking blow to American non-Muslims and freedom of speech, President Obama came out against the qu'ran burning in Florida. Obama is wrong to say this will threaten American troops. This is based on the false assumption that they are fighting us because we are doing things they don't like. Actually they are fighting us because of imperatives within the Islamic faith. They will never like us unless we convert to Islam or submit to Islamic rule. If we stop doing things they dislike, where will we draw the line? How far will Sharia advance in the U.S., with Americans afraid to stop its advance for fear of offending Muslims and stirring them up to violence? The Muslim Students Association is already pushing for halal cafeterias, segregated dorms, segregated gym facilities on campus. This is incompatible with American freedom. We have to draw the line.

Obama's position on free speech is inconsistent with this support for the Ground Zero mega mosque using the blanket of "freedom of religion" (though no one was suggesting it not built on religious grounds.) Where is the blanket of free speech?
Obama: "If he's listening, I hope he understands that what he's proposing to do is completely contrary to our values as Americans," Obama said. "That this country has been built on the notion of freedom and religious tolerance."
And freedom of speech. "Tolerance" is no where in the first amendment.
Back in October 2009, when the Obama administration actually co-sponsored (with Egypt, itself not a bastion of free inquiry and free expression) an anti-free speech resolution at the United Nations. Approved by the U.N. Human Rights Council, the resolution calls on states to condemn and criminalize “any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence.” What could be wrong with that? Everything. There is, after all, the First Amendment, which preserves Americans’ right to free speech and freedom of the press. “Incitement” and “hatred” are in the eye of the beholder – or more precisely, in the eye of those who make such determinations. The powerful can decide to silence the powerless by classifying their views as “hate speech.” The Founding Fathers knew that the freedom of speech was an essential safeguard against tyranny: the ability to dissent, freely and publicly and without fear of imprisonment or other reprisal, is a cornerstone of any genuine republic.
If some ideas cannot be heard and are proscribed from above, the ones in control are tyrants, however benevolent they may be. Now no less distinguished a personage than the president of the United States has given his imprimatur to this tyranny. The resolution also condemns “negative stereotyping of religions and racial groups,” which is of course an oblique reference to accurate reporting about the jihad doctrine and Islamic supremacism – for that, not actual negative stereotyping or hateful language, is always the focus of complaints by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and allied groups. They never say anything when people like Osama bin Laden and Khaled Sheikh Mohammed issue detailed Koranic expositions justifying violence and hatred; but when people like Geert Wilders and others report about such expositions, that’s “negative stereotyping.”
Eugene Volokh explained why even the First Amendment may not be able to stand up against Obama’s assault on free speech. “If the U.S. backs a resolution that urges the suppression of some speech,” he explains, “presumably we are taking the view that all countries – including the U.S. – should adhere to this resolution. If we are constitutionally barred from adhering to it by our domestic constitution, then we’re implicitly criticizing that constitution, and committing ourselves to do what we can to change it.” Volokh added that in order to be consistent, “the Administration would presumably have to take what steps it can to ensure that supposed ‘hate speech’ that incites hostility will indeed be punished. It would presumably be committed to filing amicus briefs supporting changes in First Amendment law to allow such punishment, and in principle perhaps the appointment of Justices who would endorse such changes (or even the proposal of express constitutional amendments that would work such changes).” In 2008 the Secretary General of the OIC chief Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu issued a warning: “We sent a clear message to the West regarding the red lines that should not be crossed” regarding free speech about Islam and terrorism. And he reported success: “The official West and its public opinion are all now well-aware of the sensitivities of these issues. They have also started to look seriously into the question of freedom of expression from the perspective of its inherent responsibility, which should not be overlooked.” No American president had ever taken more seriously his “responsibility” to restrict the freedom of speech and bow to Muslim demands than Barack Hussein Obama. When he said during his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech that “peace is unstable where citizens are denied the right to speak freely,” the irony was blistering. And he worked to erode American sovereignty in other ways as well.
President Barack Obama said in an interview Thursday that the Quran-burning plan by a Florida pastor was "destructive" and a "recruitment bonanza for al-Qaida."
Speaking on ABC's "Good Morning America" in an interview broadcast Thursday, Obama warned that Rev. Terry Jones' plan would endanger U.S. troops and could lead to serious violence in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The president called it a "stunt" and exhorted Jones to "listen to those better angels" and call off the protest this weekend.
"If he's listening, I hope he understands that what he's proposing to do is completely contrary to our values as Americans," Obama said. "That this country has been built on the notion of freedom and religious tolerance."
The president also said Jones' plan, if carried out, could serve as an incentive for terrorist-minded individuals "to blow themselves up" to kill others.
"And as a very practical matter, as commander in chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, I just want him to understand that this stunt that he is talking about pulling could greatly endanger our young men and women in uniform," the president said.
The Associated Press ran a piece recently with this headline: For U.S. Muslims, a 9/11 anniversary like no other. It mimics a press release from Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and it is, of course, utter nonsense. But it is far more serious than that.
Here again we have the victimizers playing the victim, with the complicity of their shills in the press.
The story said: “American Muslims are boosting security at mosques, seeking help from leaders of other faiths and airing ads underscoring their loyalty to the United States — all ahead of a 9/11 anniversary they fear could bring more trouble for their communities.”
It told readers that the Hamas-linked Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)—an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial— “will hold a summit of Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders in Washington ‘to address the growing tide of fear and intolerance’ in the furor over the planned New York mosque.”
We have reached the point where Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood proxies are virtually dictating their propaganda and fallacious narrative to big media and scribes, who take it down word for word, lie for lie, and report it as fact.
Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood-front CAIR is the go-to guy for all things Islam. Never are they identified for the subversives that they are. Never are their jihadist connections or convicted leadership mentioned.
They’re presented as moderate, objective authorities, just as Anwar Awlaki was the go-to imam for the big media right after 9/11. Awlaki was imam to several of the 9/11 Muslim terrorists, as well as the Fort Hood jihadi, the Christmas day bomber, the Times Square bomber, et al).
The willing dupes in the mainstream media lather, rinse, repeat. They hit bottom and just keep digging. They still don’t get it. In the information battle space, it’s a game, and they are being played. But could the stakes be higher?
Muslims in the U.S. are not the ones living under death threat. People who are standing up to jihad activity and Islamic supremacism are. They are not the ones targeted. We are. They are not getting death threats. We are. They don’t have to live with 24/7/365 heavy duty security, Geert Wilders does. Wafa Sultan, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, Salman Rushdie, the producers from Comedy Central, and accidental counter-jihad tourists like Molly Norris live under death threat. As do I.
Good, decent souls speaking out against a radical ideology, gender apartheid and supremacism are demonized and marginalized.
But the media blacks that out. They never report on that. Their narrative of Muslims “living in fear,” and worse still, living in fear on the anniversary of 9/11, is the ultimate insult.
The AP is alleging that Muslims are in fear of 911. Why?
Fresh off his US taxpayer funded [fund raising] tour of the Middle East, Imam Rauf held command over the mainstream media. He rolled out with his unchallenged oped piece in this morning's NY Times ("We are proceeding with the community center, Cordoba House"), and followed it up with his not so veiled threats against America on Larry King. Soledad O'Brien did the interview on King's moribund show. You remember Soledad, she called demagogue racebaiter Reverend Jeremiah Wright's speech a "homerun." Rauf was given free run of the joint on the Crescent News Network tonight.
Rauf said more than once that the issue about what to do with the mosque is important for national security. Imam Bridge Builder warns us numerous times that the 15 story Islamic supremacist mega mosque at Ground Zero is now a "national security issue."
"If we don't do this right, anger will explode in the Muslim world," Rauf said. "... If we don't handle this crisis correctly, it could become something very dangerous indeed."
This crisis could become much bigger than the Danish Cartoon crisis which resulted in attacks on Danish embassies in various parts of the Muslim world [and hundreds of non-Muslims were slaughtered]
The danish cartoon jihad was a crisis manufactured by the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) months after the Danish cartoons had actually runin order to impose the sharia/blasphemy laws on the non-Muslim world. Now it has become the operational threat template for Islamic supremacism.
He said moving the project to another location would strengthen Islamist radicals' ability to recruit followers and will increase violence against Americans.
This is based on the false assumption that they are fighting us because we are doing things they don't like. Actually they are fighting us because of imperatives within the Islamic faith. They will never like us unless we convert to Islam or submit to Islamic rule. If we stop doing things they dislike, where will we draw the line? How far will Sharia advance in the U.S., with Americans afraid to stop its advance for fear of offending Muslims and stirring them up to violence? The Muslim Students Association is already pushing for halal cafeterias, segregated dorms, segregated gym facilities on campus. This is incompatible with American freedom. Where do we draw the line? And when did America decide to surrender in installments? Has America so "fundamentally changed" that we cave to jihadist bullies or threats made by Peter Lorre-ish imams with delusions of establishing the caliphate on the Hudson?
He said again that if he knew ahead of time the controversy this would create, he wouldn't have made the plans to build the center at the currently planned site. Liar. He loves it. Rauf's contempt for us oozes from his every enlarged pore.
Abdur-Rahman Muhammad said that Rauf will become the most powerful Muslim leader in the world and enshrine the divinity of the 911 attacks in the Muslim ummah.
He has returned from his taxpayer funded junket to the Muslim world with the strategy for the Ground Zero mosque. Did he confer with the OIC? Clearly he met with many of its members. The plan is in place. Watch what happens.

As Jewish families gather to celebrate the New Year and a new beginning marking the Day of Creation, I want to join them in praying for a good and sweet year ahead. This day marks the beginning of a period of reflection and repentance. It is a time to remember our responsibilities to our families, our communities, our country, and our world.
This is also a time to remember who we are as Americans and our responsibilities to help our friends and allies as they seek peace and security. The people of Israel have overcome so many challenges, taken so many risks, and made so many sacrifices in the pursuit of peace and a better life for their children. This New Year begins with a new hope for peace, but the threats to Israel – and to us – have not gone away.
These are challenging times as Iran continues to work on building a nuclear weapon, Hamas attacks innocents on the eve of peace talks, enemies refuse to recognize Israel’s right to exist, and even in Europe and the United States we hear voices from those trying to delegitimize Israel.
To our Jewish friends and neighbors on this Rosh Hashanah, may you be inscribed in the Book of Life. And for our friends in Israel, know that the American people will continue to stand with you in this New Year as you strive for peace and security.

President Obama spoke to the Jewish people as they began their New Year, by addressing the so-called peace process. That was his message -- submit to suicide or homicide.
"At a time when Israelis and palestinians have returned to direct dialogue, it's up to us to encourage and support those who are willing to move beyond their differences and work towards security and peace in the Holy Land," the president said. "Progress will not come easy and it will not come quick. But today we have an opportunity to move forward toward the goal we share: two states, Israel and palestine, living side by side, in peace and security."
He is politicizing the Rosh? When Jewish children are being targeted and Jewish couples are being slaughtered in their cars? I heard no similar lecturing in his message to the Muslim world for Ramadan. Where was his council on Islamic antisemitism, kaffirophobia, gender apartheid, Christians murdered, as well as Hindus and Sikhs, the worldwide persecution of non-Muslims, or the Jewish genocide? The brutality and oppression of the sharia was absent from his remarks.
But he did come out for the Ground Zero Islamic supremacist mega mosque at the first of two Iftar dinners.
Tonight Jews around the world celebrate the beginning of the year 5771 on the Jewish calendar, starting at sundown. Rosh Hashanah, the two-day Jewish New Year celebration, also marks the beginning of Judaism's High Holy Days. The 10-day period of repentance culminates in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

Indonesia's Religious Police on Hemline Frontline - BANDA ACEH, KOMPAS.com - She wears a helmet and drives her scooter slowly through the capital of Indonesia's Aceh province, but Yuli is still stopped by the sharia police. Her crime: wearing tight jeans and a blouse deemed "un-Islamic". The 20-year-old lowers her eyes and doesn't argue with the khaki-clad male officers who summon her to the side of the road.
"I promise to buy a more Muslim outfit," she says, showing enough contrition for the police to wave her on her way. In one hour, 18 women are pulled over because the guardians of morality decide their slacks are too tight or their shirts reveal too much of their feminine curves.
Only three men receive the same treatment, for wearing shorts. "We have to respect sharia (Islamic) law, which has been adopted by the provincial government and which stipulates that women can only show their faces and their hands," sharia police commander Hali Marzuki told AFP.....
But this game of cat-and-mouse could take an ugly turn if a new regulations allowing the stoning to death of adulterers and the flogging of homosexuals is signed into law by the provincial government. The law was enacted by the outgoing Aceh Legislative Council on September 14, but it has been under review by the newly elected assembly and has not been signed into effect by Governor Irwandi Yusuf. Lawmakers in Jakarta have expressed their opposition to such draconian punishments, which could be declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court and re-open old wounds about Aceh's hard-won autonomy.

This is disgusting. Aasiya Zubair Hassan had been abused by her husband "Moe" for years. He has been jailed since turning himself in to Orchard Park police about an hour after allegedly beheading his estranged wife and business partner, Aasiya, in their TV studio. The week before, the victim had filed for divorce and obtained a court order of protection against Hassan, to keep him away from their home — the scene of a dozen domestic problem incidents in recent years, according to police.
Muzzammil “Mo” HASSAN was the founder and chief executive officer of Bridges TV, a Buffalo, NY-based Islamic television Network. He founded it in 2004 amid hopes that it would help portray Muslims in a more positive light.
Back in August of 2009, he was pleading insanity. I guess that "defense" tactic went on the chopping block.
Though it appears obvious that last year’s beheading of a Muslim woman in Buffalo, N.Y., was an honor killing, the judge in the case will allow the defendant to present a case that he was domestically abused and lashed back at his wife in self defense. Officially, it’s called battered spouse syndrome.’’
After waiting 1 1/2 years for cable executive Muzzammil "Mo" Hassan to face murder charges in the stabbing and beheading of his wife, prosecutors suffered a blow Friday when a judge ruled that the defense can introduce evidence of “battered spouse syndrome.”
Prosecutors said the decision by Erie County Judge Thomas P. Franczyk forced them to seek a delay — the third since the start of this year — in the trial, now scheduled for Jan. 10, nearly two full years after Aasiya Zubair Hassan was killed.
Naturally, prosecutors aren’t happy about the decision, and what seemed to sane observers to have been a case of typical Muslim violence against a woman may now get whitewashed with the abuse excuse.

Berlin: Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who in 2005 portrayed the Prophet Mohammed wearing a bomb in his turban, is to receive the M100 Media Prize in Germany on Wednesday, organisers said.
The prize is to be awarded for Westergaard’s ‘unbending engagement for freedom of the press and freedom of opinion, and for his courage to defend these democratic values despite threats of death and violence,’ the prize committee said.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel is to deliver the keynote speech at the ceremony, held in the Sanssouci palace in Potsdam and attended by editors and publishers from Europe’s top mediacompanies.
Westergaard’s cartoon, published along with other portrayals of Mohammed in the Jyllands-Posten in 2005, caused a storm of protest when they became known in the Arab and Muslim world. Many took offence at the personal and disrespectful portrayal of the prophet.

That is the conclusion of a new pamphlet J’Accuse…! by Ashley Mote MEP, vice-president of the Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe. 'J’Accuse!' accuses the European Union and the British government of the “deliberate destruction of British identity”.
The pamphlet points the finger at uncontrolled immigration, the failure of the British to produce enough children to sustain their own future, the utterly inadequate education of tens of thousands of young people, and the exploitation of so-called ‘terrorism’ to impose a regime of oppression.
Together these factors have eroded fundamental British values. Britain is becoming a third-world country – a western version of a banana republic.
“Much of this change has been imported. It is our fault. We have allowed it to happen and we are now allowing other ideas and ways of life to replace our own.”
'J’Accuse!' goes on…“The whole point about the British way of life is our absolute right to enjoy our country and freedoms in peace. They are not the product of the law. Instead, the law and our government are there to protect that right and those freedoms – not destroy them.
“Yet it is our own government that is today the greatest single source of terrorism. Theirs is the terrorism of state control.”
The number of criminal offences on the statute book has doubled since 1997 – one more for every day Labour has been in power. Britain has become a self-imposed police state.

Journalist turned businessman turned author. Now a regular columnist, broadcaster and political campaigner. Special interest in British constitutional history.
In 1972 he started his own international marketing business, helping major industrial companies to increase their export business. At one time the company had offices in Houston and Atlanta, USA, Geneva and London. The Tory government's foolhardy attempt to shadow the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) in the late 1980s and early 1990s ultimately forced interest rates to 15% and destroyed Ashley Mote's business, along with over 100,000 others.
Having had such bitter first-hand experience of the damage the ERM could do, he started researching the European Union. This led to his book Vigilance - A Defence of British Liberty. Vigilance is one of the fastest-selling books about the EU ever published. His second political book, OverCrowded Britain is about the UK's immigration crisis, and was published in 2003.
In 2000, Ashley drafted a Petition to Her Majesty under Article 61 of Magna Carta, which was later signed by 28 peers and taken to Buckingham Palace by the Duke of Rutland and others. The petition asked Her Majesty not to grant the Royal Assent to the Bill to ratify the EU's Treaty of Nice - an appeal which reports suggest came close to success.
A founder member of the SANITY group (Subjects Against the Nice Treaty), Ashley worked closely with Trevor Colman to produce three videos about the EU. The launch of Shockwaves resulted in sales of over 1000 a day. Since then he has written and directed two others - Better Off Out and Who Governs Britain?
Briefly active in the Liberal Party of Joe Grimond and Jeremy Thorpe, Ashley left when the party was taken over by left-wingers. He joined the UK Independence Party just before the 2001 general election as the only political home for people wanting Britain to leave the EU altogether. At the 2004 European parliamentary elections he won the second seat for UKIP in the south-east of England.
He now sits as the UK's only independent member of the European Parliament, free to fight for the early withdrawal of the UK from the European Union and the restoration of government of the British by the British for the British.
Married with two adult children. Ashley Mote is the author of several other books, including The Glory Days of Cricket, which won the Cricket Society Literary Award in 1997.
He is a member of the Hambledon Club and a Freeman of the City of London. His other interests include music, the theatre, good company and rugby.

Born in Big Lake, Texas, he holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A & M University. While active in engineering, he was a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a National Certified Manufacturing Engineer. After graduation, he accepted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant (later promoted to 1st Lt.) in the Army Security Agency (ASA), a branch of the National Security Agency (NSA), which is a big brother to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Military training was in the field of cryptoanalysis (the breaking of codes), and served as a Company Commander with an Intelligence Unit on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in the Chorwan valley of South Korea, from 1956 to 1957 (after the fighting had ceased).
Upon leaving active duty, began his professional career in the petroleum industry. Served as an Industrial Engineer for ten years until being promoted into management, and was a manufacturing Plant Manager for over ten years.The past seventeen years he served as an International Management Consultant, working in the US, Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, and Iran.
After completing the manuscript to the first book, Who's Who of the Elite, he contacted a number of publishers to ascertain their interest in this material. They all declined because of the subject matter, so he formed his own publishing company, RIE, and published this first of fourteen books in progress. He is Britain’s most successful documentary film-maker. He is the only British director making feature-length documentaries for cinema audiences and the only British director to have late show slots every weekend at cinemas in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Rome simultaneously. His is called the ‘Enfant Terrible!’ (which means the terrible child) of British Cinema by Paris Match magazine.
In 2007, he made no less than 4 x 2 hour feature-length documentaries, which were all subsequently released on DVD, each with 2 hour bonus discs. That means in 2007 he almost single-handedly matched the entire cinema output of the combined British Film Industry. Since 2004, he has made no less than 7 feature-length documentaries which have all been on independent cinema release and then sold to DVD worldwide.
