We have reached the point where Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood proxies are virtually dictating their propaganda and fallacious narrative to big media and scribes, who take it down word for word, lie for lie, and report it as fact. Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR is the go-to guy for all things Islam. Never are they identified for the subversives that they are. Never are their jihadist connections or convicted leadership mentioned. Just as Anwar Awlaki was the go-to imam for big media right after 911 (Awlaki was imam to a couple of the 911 Muslim terrorists, as well as the Fort Hood jihadi, the Christmas day bomber, the Times Square bomber, et al). These willing dupes lather, rinse, repeat. They hit bottom and just keep digging. They still don't get it. In the information battle space, it's a game, and they are being so played. But could the stakes be higher?
Responsible journalism is dead.
Today's AP headline reads US Muslims, a 9/11 anniversary like no other. It mimics a Hamas-linked CAIR press release. It is, of course, utter nonsense. But it is far more serious than that. This is Goebbels-style propaganda. The Nazis played the victim card too, and here again we have the victimizers playing the victim, with the complicity of their shills in the press.
They are not the ones living under death threat, we are. They are not the ones targeted, we are. They are not getting death threats. We are. They don't have to live with 24/7/365 heavy duty security, Geert Wilders does. Wafa Sultan, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, Salman Rushdie, the producers from Comedy Central, and accidental counter jihad tourists like Molly Norris live under death threat. As do I.
Good, decent souls speaking out against a radical ideology, gender apartheid and supremacism are demonized and marginalized.
But the media blacks that out. They never report on that. Their narrative of Muslims "living in fear," and worse still, living in fear on 911, is the ultimate insult. Real fear is living as a non-Muslim in Muslim countries under the sharia. Real fear is living as a Coptic Christian in Egypt, real fear is living as a Christian in Indonesia, real fear is a girl going to school in Afghanistan, real fear is being an Israeli awaiting the Islamic nuke, real fear is being a Jew in Europe, or a pro-Israel Jew on many US college campuses and on and on and on.
First, the concretes, the facts. Hate crimes directed against Muslims remain relatively rare, according to the latest FBI report. So all this push back by the bullies is a tactic.
We are now being clubbed to death with two reports of mosque incidents in Tennessee and California. Mind you, many recent mosque incidents have been done by Muslims, so let's wait to see who is arrested. And no matter who is responsible, Muslims or non-Muslims, they should prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Synagogues have been desecrated and attacked in record numbers, but no one talks about that. Real attacks. Antisemitism is at record highs worldwide, the highest since World War II. *Yawn* But only this relentless nonexistent islamophobia gets played on an endless loop, a psy-op on the American psyche -- and we are tired of it. Defense against Islamic jihad is a healthy response to a mortal enemy.
The AP is alleging that Muslims are in fear of 911. Why? We were attacked by Muslim terrorists. What has the Muslim community, the ummahdone to eradicate the ideology that inspired those attacks? Or the Fort Hood jihad, the Fort Dix Six, the Christmas day bomber, the Times Square bomber? We have waited patiently, have we not? What efforts, in the past nine years, have been made to expunge the koran of its genocidal prescriptions? With the exception of dawah (proselytizing) camouflaged as "interfaith dialogue," nothing has been done. The West has bent over backwards in "outreach," "mutual understanding," and "mutual respect." Where is the reciprocity? And where has it gotten us, except further down the rabbit hole?
The 911 quran burning in Florida is a dumb idea. Stupid. I don't support such acts. Book burnings are always a bad idea. But Muslims have nothing to fear from those Christians. It is insensitive for that church to burn the quran, but it is still a free country, is it not? Islamic supremacists can't whine about "insensitivity" while planning to erect a 15 story mega mosque on Ground Zero.
It is Muslims who should be ripping out the violent passages in the quran that have inspired 1,400 years of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements that resulted in the slaughter of 270 million souls, Muslims among them. Only the Muslim world can reform Islam. What is being done?
This AP article takes the cake. Basically it is saying that if Muslims get violent, it's our fault.
NEW YORK – American Muslims are boosting security at mosques, seeking help from leaders of other faiths and airing ads underscoring their loyalty to the United States — all ahead of a 9/11 anniversary they fear could bring more trouble for their communities.
Their goal is not only to protect Muslims, but also to prevent them from retaliating if provoked. One Sept. 11 protest in New York against the proposed mosque near ground zero is expected to feature Geert Wilders, the aggressively anti-Islam Dutch lawmaker. The same day in Gainesville, Fla., the Dove World Outreach Center plans to burn copies of the Quran.
"We can expect crazy people out there will do things, but we don't want to create a hysteria," among Muslims, said Victor Begg ofthe Council of Islamic Organizations of Michigan. "Americans, in general, they support pluralism. It's just that there's a lot ofmisinformation out there that has created confusion."
On Tuesday, the Islamic Society of North America will hold a summit of Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders in Washington "to address the growing tide of fear and intolerance" in the furor over the planned New York mosque.
Islamic centers in many cities are intensifying surveillance and keeping closer contact with law enforcement. Adding to Muslim concern is a fluke of the lunar calendar: Eid al-Fitr, a joyous holiday marking the end of Ramadan, will fall around Sept. 11 this year. Muslim leaders fear festivities could be misinterpreted as celebrating the 2001 terror strikes.
"We're telling everyone to keep their eyes open and report anything suspicious to authorities and call us," said Ramzy Kilic of the Tampa, Fla., chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations.
Other efforts around 9/11 aim to fight bigotry. Muslims will clean parks, feed the homeless, and give toys to sick children as part of Muslim Serve, a national campaign to demonstrate Islamic commitment to serving humanity.
Separately, groups are distributing ads to combat persistent suspicions about Islam. One spot, called "My Faith, My Voice," features American Muslims saying, "I don't want to take over this country."
Sept. 11 anniversaries have always been challenging for U.S. Muslims, who have been under scrutiny since the attacks. This year, the commemoration follows a stunning summer in which opposition to a planned Islamic community center near theWorld Trade Center site escalated into a national uproar over Islam, extremism and religious freedom.
Islamic centers as far away as Tennessee and California faced protests and vandalism. In western New York, police said a group of teenagers recently yelled obscenities, set off a car alarm and fired a shotgun during two nights of drive-by harassment at a small-town mosque near Lake Ontario.
Usama Shami, board chairman for the Islamic Community Centerof Phoenix, said a new mosque the congregation has been building for years drew little attention until recently, when some resistance emerged in the neighborhood and from some in city government. Recently, vandals broke into the new building, spilled paint on the floor and broke expensive windows.
Shami believes the ground zero dispute is partly to blame for the trouble, along with passions unleashed by Arizona's strict new law that would require police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are in the country illegally.
What dhimmi shilling. The AP has no shame.
UPDATE: The police have posted a $20,000 reward for information leading to arrest of the person or persons responsible for the suspected arson of a piece of construction equipment at the site of the planned mega mosque in Tennessee.

The Jewish Week (not) did a hit piece on moi earlier this week. I will not link to the never-was (let alone has-been) journalist who trafficked in out-and-out lies. Dhimmi shill journalist Doug Chandler claimed I "stormed out of a Jewish Week interview" in the lede paragraph.
Chandler is a bold faced liar.
I did not walk out. I spent over an hour and forty-five minutes with that JINO from the Jewish Week, on a day on which I had six other interviews. He got, far and away, the largest chunk of my time of those six. At the close of the interview, he started reading from a printout of Media Matters libelous Geller talking points. He began asking me to respond to distortions, half-truths, and outright lies posted by Media Matters and I did. Quite a number of them. But then it got stupid. Soon I saw that it was pointless to respond, since the Media Matters material is so deeply tendentious and biased, and since I had another interview, I told the interviewer that it was nonsense and that I had to go. I did not storm out, but since I had another interview scheduled at that time, I did have to leave. And we had covered everything.
The reporter is a drama queen looking to hook bottom feeders by trafficking in smears and fabrication.
The Jewish Week interview demonstrates his dishonesty and shows that he fabricates material when he claims that Robert Spencer and I shouted down speakers at the May 25 community board meeting. We shouted no one down, and have the video of the entire event (here andhere) to prove it. That a Jew would accuse me of being a brown shirt in defending America is clearly the act of a modern day kapo.
Why is it that when the pro-freedom EDL holds a peaceful demonstration in England, the dhimmedia have a seizure and spend an inordinate amount of ink on smearing, labeling and destroying those brave enough to stand against jihad and the islamization of their countries? Tonight's feature, Suddenly (1954) starring Frank Sinatra, Sterling Hayden. "The tranquility of a small town is jarred when the U.S. President is scheduled to pass through and a hired assassin takes over the Benson home as a perfect location to ambush the president."
New York Times film critic Bosley Crowther liked the direction of the film and the acting, writing, "Yet such is the role that Mr. Sinatra plays in Suddenly!, a taut little melodrama that... [it] shapes up as one of the slickest recent items in the minor movie league... we have several people to thank- particularly Richard Sale for a good script, which tells a straight story credibly, Mr. Allen for direction that makes both excitement and sense, Mr. Bassler for a production that gets the feel of a small town and the cast which includes Sterling Hayden, James Gleason and Nancy Gates." Crowther especially liked Sinatra's performance. He wrote, "Mr. Sinatra deserves a special chunk of praise...In Suddenly! he proves it in a melodramatic tour de force."[6]

That's what there is to the picture—a compact study of terror and suspense, with a bit of a nervous contemplation of a psychopathic character thrown in. But it moves along so crisply and with such breathless uncertainty all the way that it drags you into the episode and holds you to the end.
For this, we have several people to thank particularly—Richard Sale for a good script, which tells a straight story credibly, Mr. Allen for direction that makes both excitement and sense, Mr. Bassler for a production that gets the feel of a small town and the cast which includes Sterling Hayden, James Gleason and Nancy Gates.
But we think that Mr. Sinatra deserves a special chunk of praise for playing the leading gunman with an easy, cold, vicious sort of gleam. His memorable playing of Maggio in "From Here to Eternity" served fair notice that the singer could act a dramatic role. In "Suddenly!" he proves it in a melodramatic tour de force.
There is not much substance to the picture—no reason is given for the attempt to eliminate the President—nor to Mr. Sinatra's role. But he makes both fascinating. His old fans should see him now.
Muslim Brotherhood Islamic supremacist groups are pushing their sharia (Islamic law) agendas on a subdued and receptive Obama administration. This is why hate speech and hate crime laws must be repealed, and we need to support politicians who will do just that if elected. Who decides what is hate speech? This is a violation of the most protected speech under the first amendment -- political speech (and the sharia is political).
All crime is hate crime -- and all crime should be prosecuted. Hate crime in the eyes of the Hamas-linked, Islamic supremacist groups like CAIR, ICNA, ISNA, etc., could be a rubber porky pig with "remember 911" written on it .............. how many years in prison would satisfy the stealth jihadists?
Free speech is the line in the sand. As long as we have free speech, protect it. This is a life and death issue. "Once a country accepts censorship of the press and of speech nothing can be won without violence" -- Ayn Rand.
A coalition of faith groups met with Justice Department officials Monday to encourage the Obama administration to take a more public stance against anti-Muslim hate speech and hate crimes.
Farhana Khera, president and executive director of Muslim Advocates, said the community leaders requested the meeting due to an “alarming rise in anti-Muslim hate” that has become commonplace as the debate over the so-called “Ground Zero mosque” in New York City continues.
“Unfortunately, this very escalating trend of hate speech in the country has now transformed into actual acts of violence and the attorney general, as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer, has an obligation to really enforce the laws, including the hate crime laws and holding those that engage in hate crimes responsible,” Khera said.
“We are a thriving democracy, we appreciate free speech, but when it crosses the line into violence, that’s against the law,” she said. “And the [Justice] Department, the federal government, the nation’s chief law enforcement officer is going to prosecute and hold them responsible to the fullest extent of the law.
She said the groups asked the Justice Department officials to hold people who engage in hate crimes accountable, and “send a message that hate and criminal activity and attacks on houses of worship is un-American.”
“Our concern is that we believe that there needs to be more attention, more resources put into investigating and prosecuting these cases as well as a higher level of attention to whatever efforts the department may be undertaking as well,” she said.
Those favoring construction of a 15-story mega-mosque at Ground Zero say that those who oppose it are racists and bigots. It is absurd to suggest that the 70% of Americans who oppose the building of the mosque do so out of hatred of Muslims.
Americans don’t want a victory mosque marking the site of the 9/11 attacks. They don’t want an insult to the 3,000 Americans who were murdered there by Islamic jihadists and for whom Ground Zero is a cemetery.
There are other reasons to oppose the mosque, too. Here’s why every American should oppose the mega-mosque—including you.
First, there is the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, leader of the mosque effort. It is clear that Rauf and other mosque leaders are not as moderate as they claim to be. Rauf has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, while those who claim he is moderate just keep telling us that he is without giving us evidence. But the audio and transcripts posted at my website Atlas Shrugs prove otherwise.
The Muslim Brotherhood is dedicated, according to a captured internal document, to “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within.” Rauf’s book What’s Right with Islam says on the copyright page that “this edition was made possible through a joint effort of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and the office of Interfaith and Community Alliance of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). Funding for this project was provided by IIIT.” Both IIIT and ISNA are Muslim Brotherhood fronts, and ISNA was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation Hamas terror funding case.
The Arabic translation of Rauf’s book is a call to conversion from the pile of human remains at Ground Zero, disturbingly entitled, A Call to Prayer from the World Trade Center Rubble: Islamic Dawa in the Heart of post 9/11 America.
In his book, Rauf supports and justifies Sharia law, and calls for restrictions on free speech in America. He has written another book that has gotten little notice: Islam: A Sacred Law—What Every Muslim Should Know About Sharia. In it he explains why God’s law is superior to manmade law, or that is, why Sharia is better than democracy:
“God places a high premium on judging in accord with His dictates, and for developing a nation where laws apply to all equally, and where those who are in charge of upholding the law do not set themselves or any other group above the law—for them corruption sets in. The corruption of the individual or a society that abandons Sacred Law is amplified in one of the key Qur’anic passages regarding the relevance, evolution and meaning of Divine Law, (5:41-50) where Allah speaks frequently of the act of ‘judging.’ In this passage, God criticizes previous generations who ‘raced toward disbelief, among those who say with their mouths “We believe” while their hearts done believe;’ who ‘altered God’s Words from their placements;’ indicating somehow that they altered their divinely ordained Shari’ah, placing their own values above that which God had established. The Qur’an continues to describe them as ‘listeners of lies, devourers of ill-gotten property,’ an accusation that a Muslim tries carefully to avoid incurring.”
This passage is based on a section of the Koran, 5:41-50, that talks about “judging” peoples. It’s clear from the context that the “previous generations” are Jews and Christians who have now become “listeners of lies, devourers of ill-gotten property.” In other words, Rauf is condemning Jews and Christians in America and arguing obliquely that America should ditch the Constitution and adopt Sharia.
It is important to remember that there are numerous huge mosques being built all over America with money from the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), another Muslim Brotherhood-linked group that gets Saudi funding. As mosque leaders have now admitted, and like most mosques in this country, the mega-mosque at Ground Zero will have to get foreign funding. The Muslim community in Lower Manhattan doesn’t need a giant mosque, and can’t pay for one. All over the country, NAIT is overseeing the construction of huge mosques that are much larger than the local Muslim group really needs.
These mega-mosques are making a supremacist statement. Most people assume they’re just like synagogues or churches. They don’t realize that Islam has political goals that are expressed through the mosques, and that the mosques often symbolize that Muslims are claiming a particular territory as their own. In Europe, the “no-go” areas for non-Muslims in France, Sweden and elsewhere show what these claims lead to.
Back in early July, I reported on the horrific attack on a Christian professor by Muslims who chopped off his hand because of a "defamatory" question he put on an exam. Five jihadists chopped of the hand of the good and fine professor......in accord with the sharia. But that wasn't enough.
The use of amputation, though it differs slightly from exact Qur'anic prescriptions, suggests Qur'an 5:33: "The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom."
In yet another blow to Professor TJ Joseph, who was allegedly attack by radical outfit Popular Front of India for preparing a Malayalam question paper allegedly having derogatory reference to prophet Mohammed, the authorities of the private New Man College have removed him from service.
The colleges authorities have informed Joseph that he had been removed from service from Sept 1, source said.
PFI activists had allegedly hacked the right arm of Joseph on July 4 after he prepared the controversial Malayalam question paper.
The lecturer has injuries all over his body and is currently recovering at his residence at Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam district.
Yesterday, Muslims were proselytizing and passing out Islamic leaflets at a fair in Minnesota. The AP plays it this way: Muslims Take to Minn. State Fair to Repair Image (hat tip Her Royal Whyness). The police did nothing. Why two sets of rules for Muslims and non-Muslims? The sharia (Islamic law).

So based on that - why weren't these Muslims arrested?
FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – Despite the smells of fried dough and roasted meat wafting from the Minnesota State Fair, Salim and Zuleyha Ozonder were focused on the people who were leaving, not the food or festivities beckoning from across the street.
Each time a new wave of people exited, the young Minneapolis residents — who hadn't eaten all day — tried to press into their hands a small, glossy card that read "Islam Explained" on one side. On the other, it had about 180 words of background on a religion whose adherents fear is being misunderstood by too many Americans as violent and depraved.
"You just want people to take the card, spend a minute reading it and say, 'Oh. They're not terrorists,'" said 27-year-old Zuleyha. She and her husband, like other Muslims, were fasting during daylight hours for the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
For most fairgoers, the last thing on their mind is religion — particularly the renewed controversy over Islam in America amid tension over plans for an Islamic center and mosque a few blocks from New York City's ground zero. But volunteers with the Minnesota chapter of Islamic Circle of North America saw the mostly white, Christian fair crowd as just the type of audience that might benefit from greater understanding.
The "Great Minnesota Get-Together" is one of the largest and best-attended state fairs in the country. Every day for 12 days through Labor Day, hundreds of thousands of people stream onto the fairgrounds north of St. Paul to scarf highly caloric food, stare at farm animals, clamber onto carnival rides and enjoy concerts by country singers and classic rock dinosaurs.
"What are they doing here?" said Paulette Kahlstorf of Zimmerman, who declined a card from Zuleyha as she left the fairgrounds with her husband. "I didn't come here for that."
A minute later, Kahlstorf elaborated that she didn't have a problem with all Muslims: "Just the radical ones." And she said she didn't mind their decision to hand out the cards, which include a toll-free number that anyone can call to request a free copy of the Quran.
"You know, I guess we let all the politicians come out here and schmooze, so we might as well let these folks as well," said Kahlstorf. "Doesn't mean I need to listen to them."
A history teacher has been suspended in France for spending too much time teaching students about the Holocaust.
Catherine Pederzoli, 58, a secondary school teacher who is Jewish, was accused of teaching the subject with insufficient neutrality for both her time dedicated to teaching about the Holocaust and trips she organized to former Nazi death camps, Pederzoli’s attorney Christine Tadic told Agence France-Presse.
"If this teacher had been a Christian, no one would have accused her of brain-washing," Tadic said. "Isn't it the case that this teacher's fault is to have been Jewish?"
A report compiled by school officials last month alleged that Pederzoli took up too much time preparing students for the annual school trips to Poland and the Czech Republic and accuses her of "lacking distance, neutrality and secularism" and "brain-washing" in teaching the Holocaust, AFP reported.
Tadic told the AFP that her client organized the trips for 15 years with no complaints and was unfairly targeted by a new school management team that arrived in 2007.
Authorities suspect Pederzoli of inciting a protest staged by some of her students in December after the school reduced the number of destinations on the Holocaust field trips, the AFP reported.
Judges have two weeks to decide whether or not to grant Pederzoli a court injunction to annul the suspension.

That is the conclusion of a new pamphlet J’Accuse…! by Ashley Mote MEP, vice-president of the Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe. 'J’Accuse!' accuses the European Union and the British government of the “deliberate destruction of British identity”.
The pamphlet points the finger at uncontrolled immigration, the failure of the British to produce enough children to sustain their own future, the utterly inadequate education of tens of thousands of young people, and the exploitation of so-called ‘terrorism’ to impose a regime of oppression.
Together these factors have eroded fundamental British values. Britain is becoming a third-world country – a western version of a banana republic.
“Much of this change has been imported. It is our fault. We have allowed it to happen and we are now allowing other ideas and ways of life to replace our own.”
'J’Accuse!' goes on…“The whole point about the British way of life is our absolute right to enjoy our country and freedoms in peace. They are not the product of the law. Instead, the law and our government are there to protect that right and those freedoms – not destroy them.
“Yet it is our own government that is today the greatest single source of terrorism. Theirs is the terrorism of state control.”
The number of criminal offences on the statute book has doubled since 1997 – one more for every day Labour has been in power. Britain has become a self-imposed police state.
'J’Accuse!' concludes : “Our British way of life is at terrible risk. We British need to go back to our roots, and re-install our own standards.”

Journalist turned businessman turned author. Now a regular columnist, broadcaster and political campaigner. Special interest in British constitutional history.
In 1972 he started his own international marketing business, helping major industrial companies to increase their export business. At one time the company had offices in Houston and Atlanta, USA, Geneva and London. The Tory government's foolhardy attempt to shadow the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) in the late 1980s and early 1990s ultimately forced interest rates to 15% and destroyed Ashley Mote's business, along with over 100,000 others.
Having had such bitter first-hand experience of the damage the ERM could do, he started researching the European Union. This led to his book Vigilance - A Defence of British Liberty. Vigilance is one of the fastest-selling books about the EU ever published. His second political book, OverCrowded Britain is about the UK's immigration crisis, and was published in 2003.
In 2000, Ashley drafted a Petition to Her Majesty under Article 61 of Magna Carta, which was later signed by 28 peers and taken to Buckingham Palace by the Duke of Rutland and others. The petition asked Her Majesty not to grant the Royal Assent to the Bill to ratify the EU's Treaty of Nice - an appeal which reports suggest came close to success.
A founder member of the SANITY group (Subjects Against the Nice Treaty), Ashley worked closely with Trevor Colman to produce three videos about the EU. The launch of Shockwaves resulted in sales of over 1000 a day. Since then he has written and directed two others - Better Off Out and Who Governs Britain?
Briefly active in the Liberal Party of Joe Grimond and Jeremy Thorpe, Ashley left when the party was taken over by left-wingers. He joined the UK Independence Party just before the 2001 general election as the only political home for people wanting Britain to leave the EU altogether. At the 2004 European parliamentary elections he won the second seat for UKIP in the south-east of England.
He now sits as the UK's only independent member of the European Parliament, free to fight for the early withdrawal of the UK from the European Union and the restoration of government of the British by the British for the British.
Married with two adult children. Ashley Mote is the author of several other books, including The Glory Days of Cricket, which won the Cricket Society Literary Award in 1997.
He is a member of the Hambledon Club and a Freeman of the City of London. His other interests include music, the theatre, good company and rugby.

Born in Big Lake, Texas, he holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A & M University. While active in engineering, he was a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, and a National Certified Manufacturing Engineer. After graduation, he accepted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant (later promoted to 1st Lt.) in the Army Security Agency (ASA), a branch of the National Security Agency (NSA), which is a big brother to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Military training was in the field of cryptoanalysis (the breaking of codes), and served as a Company Commander with an Intelligence Unit on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in the Chorwan valley of South Korea, from 1956 to 1957 (after the fighting had ceased).
Upon leaving active duty, began his professional career in the petroleum industry. Served as an Industrial Engineer for ten years until being promoted into management, and was a manufacturing Plant Manager for over ten years.The past seventeen years he served as an International Management Consultant, working in the US, Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, and Iran.
After completing the manuscript to the first book, Who's Who of the Elite, he contacted a number of publishers to ascertain their interest in this material. They all declined because of the subject matter, so he formed his own publishing company, RIE, and published this first of fourteen books in progress. He is Britain’s most successful documentary film-maker. He is the only British director making feature-length documentaries for cinema audiences and the only British director to have late show slots every weekend at cinemas in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Rome simultaneously. His is called the ‘Enfant Terrible!’ (which means the terrible child) of British Cinema by Paris Match magazine.
In 2007, he made no less than 4 x 2 hour feature-length documentaries, which were all subsequently released on DVD, each with 2 hour bonus discs. That means in 2007 he almost single-handedly matched the entire cinema output of the combined British Film Industry. Since 2004, he has made no less than 7 feature-length documentaries which have all been on independent cinema release and then sold to DVD worldwide.
