On November 9, 2010, a member of the Shumukh Al-Islam jihadi forum posted a lengthy series of photos of the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The photos appear to have been obtained from the Internet, and include several Google satellite images of the base, along with a detailed description of the various facilities and buildings located in it. The author, "Qahir Al-CIA" (Subjugator of the CIA), presented several open-ended questions to fellow Shumukh members at the end of his post, mostly concerning Iran's ability to effectively target the Al-Udeid Air Base, the types of weapons Iran might use for such an attack, and, in the event of a first strike by Iran, how Iran would deal with a counterattack from Al-Udeid.
