"Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution, which reads,

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

a woman screamed out, “"Except Obama, except Obama, help us Jesus!"

    ---------------

The Birther Movement is a political cult that openly rejects the legitimacy of President Barack Obama’s U.S. citizenship and therefore his eligibility to be President of the United States.

Some of these conspiracy theories allege that President Obama was born in Kenya, Africa, not Hawaii, and that his birth certificate is indeed a forgery.

Still, another twist in the Birther’s conspiracy theory alleges that President Obama is really a citizen of Indonesia and is in actuality, a planted Manchurian / Muslim Candidate sent by unspecified Communists / Socialists to destroy U.S. democracy and ultimately topple Christianity by planting Muslim "seeds" that in the end, will make Islam America’s dominate religion.

On Thursday, in the House of Representatives in what appeared to be more of a theatrical scene from a low budget dinner theatre production, an apparent member of the Birther movement seated in the House Gallery disrupted Representative Frank Pallone (D-NJ) as he read the “natural born citizen” clause of the U.S. Constitution.

As Pallone read Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution, which reads, "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President." a woman screamed out, “"Except Obama, except Obama, help us Jesus!"

In response to the disturbance, Idaho Representative Mike Simpson (R) banged the gavel to bring the House back to order.

"The chair will remind persons in the gallery -- the chair will remind all persons in the gallery that they are here as guests of the House and that any manifestation of approval or disapproval of the proceedings is in violation of the rules of the House," Simpson said. "The chair notes the disturbance in the gallery contravenes the law and rules of the House. The sergeant at arms will remove persons responsible for the disturbance and restore order in the gallery."

As the Sergeant of the Arms placed the agitated woman under arrest and escorted her from the House Chambers, she yelled out, “My name is Theresa”.

Representative Pallone expressed disappointment in the woman’s outburst by stating that such disruptions only made the Birther Movement appear “out of touch” with reality and “comical” in their sense of reasoning.

The New Jersey Democrat also said it was inappropriate for the woman to have interrupted the proceedings and that having her removed was the right thing to do.

"I mean it's a fact that the President is a natural born citizen, so I think it's just inappropriate for people to keep raising it. The problem is the people that keep raising it want to go against the facts," Pallone said. "I think that was an example of this phenomenon today. There's nothing that President Obama can do to make it go away because the Birthers just don't want to face the facts."

According to Pallone, members of the House – both Democrat and Republican – should focus on revitalizing the economy and should not be distracted by the odd / theatrical performance of individuals that are involved in the Birther Movement.

"It's like this natural born issue, it's just a waste of time," Pallone told me. "It takes away from the real issue, which is what are we going to do to improve the economy and create jobs."

    Commentary

From the deserts of Tuscon, Arizona, to the streets of Paris, France, bigotry and doubt are old weapons of deceit and manipulation that are often repackaged and regurgitated by less than honest politicians that enjoy the thrill / hunt of running for public office. In this particular scenario, agents of the “Invisible Hand” have already been commissioned and dispatched by wealthy benefactors to influence "Obama Haters" and border-line "haters" to believe with all their heart what their mind is telling them is not real. In fact, Jesus Christ could verify that President Obama is an American citizen and true Birthers would not believe him.

Let there be no mistake, It is the "Invisible Hand" that strongly pushes back against President Obama’s Wall Street and Health Care reform by telling all that will listen that Banking / Business regulations and affordable health care is of the "devil" and has no place in the "halls of freedom'. Additionally, it is the “Invisible Hand” that manipulates the mindless (and yes, they do exist) who cannot and will not accept the fact that a Black First Family occupies “The White House”.

As the media and opposing political parties begin digging their “war trenches” in preparation for the upcoming 2012 Presidential elections, agents of the Invisible Hand are busy as evil trolls, trying with all of their might to delegitimize President Obama’s presidency and his administration by mobilizing their legions of zombie-like “haters”.

Like dancing puppets on a string, mindless Obama “haters” unabashedly lie and distort reality (by any means necessary) in order to win back “their country” on behalf of phantom puppet masters who are genuinely more interested in buying lake front villas and rare Van Goghs than hiring new employees with their much anticipated tax cut extensions.

As always Louisianans, the New Orleans Examiner is interested in what you think. Are Birthers aware that they are being manipulated by the "invisible Hand" as a means to win the White House for Ultra Conservatives in 2012? And should we expect more orchestrated outbursts and theatrical performances from political crazies as presidential contenders jockey for political leverage? Inquiring minds want to know. Sound off.

Until next time Louisianans, Good Day, God Bless and Good Fishing.
