It seems he was tweeting a crotch shot to his college age girlfriend in Seattle when he accidentally tweeted it publicly instead of a DM (direct message.) He is spinning now (saying his account was hacked.) But it looks like the snake is lying. Big Government broke the story here: Hacked or hung? Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY 9″) finds himself in a late night online pickle. This evening a photo surfaced on Congressman Weiner’s yfrog account and in his verified Twitter timeline of a man in his underwear with an erection. The photo was reportedly sent to a woman on Twitter. We’ve protected her name and her account, which was at one time verified to be active but has since been deleted after the photo in question was deleted. Coincidentally, the rest of the photos in the congressman’s alleged yfrog account were also deleted around 11 p.m. eastern. Is this the Tweet in question? Was Weiner hacked? Weiner, who married Hillary Clinton’s longtime assistant, Huma Abedin, last year, has been Tweeting about hockey this evening. Confusion reigns online as puzzled Weiner followers wonder what occurred to Weiner’s timeline. The photo, stored at Weiner’s alleged yfrog account, is connected to his verified Twitter account. Were his yfrog and Twitter accounts hacked as well? Rep. Weiner claims that his Facebook account was hacked. We were unable, at this late hour, to reach anyone at Congressman Weiner’s offices for comment. Politico: Weiner Has Not Reponded On If He Reported ‘Hack’ to Authorities at Politico As one commenter pointed out at Politico: First, he posted three hours before the alleged hack post, and four minutes after. This means he somehow wrestled control of his account back from the hackers quickly. How is this possible? That would be quite a feat, either through password guessing or some sort of Twitter security hole. If it happened, why didn’t we hear about how? Second, if he lost control of the account, standard Twitter practice is to remove the “Verified Account” status until Twitter can confirm the account is back under the control of the named person. Yet, the @RepWeiner account as of this writing is still Verified. Third, such hacks these days are crimes, and are especially serious when directed at Members of Congress. If his Twitter account has been compromised, what else would the attackers have access to? Instead of reporting the attack to the FBI though, Weiner has made jokes, and in fact keeps joking about it. This is unreasonable behavior in the face of an actual attack, however if it wasn’t hacked, then to report one would probably be a crime in itself. There are at least two demonstrably false statements issued to the New York Post on behalf of Representative Anthony Weiner by his spokesperson, Dave Arnold. Here’s the first [emphasis mine]: The tech-savvy congressman saw the picture almost immediately. He had been tweeting about a hockey game just a few minutes earlier. An analysis of Rep. Anthony Weiner’s Twitter timeline has already been done here at Big Government that clearly shows Weiner’s Twitter account had been publicly silent for 3 hrs. and 24 mins. prior to the Tweeting of the inappropriate image. Consequently, there was no Tweet about a hockey game “just a few minutes earlier.” Therefore, that statement simply isn’t true. Rep. Weiner’s spokesman then falsely claims that after removing the image in question, Weiner joked about the incident a mere 15 minutes later. Again, from the Post: Weiner pulled the shot himself, but not before it had been retweeted and screen-grabbed by several followers. Weiner, a voracious user of Twitter, wrote a humorous response about 15 minutes later. Weiner planned on winning New York's next Mayoral election. He was counting on Bill (who presided over the Huma/Weiner nuptials) and Hillary Clinton's significant support. Quid pro quo, ya know. to Let's pray this buries any shot he had. What can I say? What words could I find to express my thanks for the sacrifice made by my countrymen, so that the individual could live free in the most exceptional country in the history of the world? Every September, I recall that is now more than 65 years since I landed at Nagasaki with the 2nd Marine Division in the original occupation of Japan following World War II. Following the 1941 sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, a Japanese admiral said, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant..." Indeed, they had. Not surprisingly, the atomic bomb was produced by a free people functioning in a free environment. Not surprisingly because the creative process is a natural human choice-making process and inventiveness occurs most readily where choice-making opportunities abound. America! The Japanese learned the hard way what tyrants of any generation should know: Never start a war with a free people - you never know what they may invent! As a newly assigned member of a U.S. Marine intelligence section, I had a unique opportunity to visit many major cities of Japan, including Tokyo and Hiroshima, within weeks of their destruction. For a full year I observed the beaches, weapons, and troops we would have assaulted had the A-bombs not been dropped. Yes, it would have been very destructive for all, but especially for the people of Japan. When we landed in Japan, for what came to be the finest and most humane occupation of a defeated enemy in recorded history, it was with great appreciation, thanksgiving, and praise for the atomic bomb team, including the aircrew of the Enola Gay. A half million American homes had been spared the Gold Star flag, including, I'm sure, my own. Whenever I hear the apologists expressing guilt and shame for A-bombing and ending the war Japan had started (they ignore the cause-effect relation between Pearl Harbor and Nagasaki), I have noted that neither the effete critics nor the puff-adder politicians are among us in the assault landing-craft or the stinking rice paddies of their suggested alternative, "conventional" warfare. Stammering reluctance is obvious and continuous, but they do love to pontificate about the Rights that others, and the Bomb, have bought and preserved for them. The vanities of ignorance and camouflaged cowardice abound as license for the assertion of virtuous "rights" purchased by the blood of others - those others who have borne the burden and physical expense of Rights whining apologists so casually and self-righteously claim. At best, these fakers manifest a profound and cryptic ignorance of causal relations, myopic perception, and dull I.Q. At worst, there is a word and description in The Constitution defining those who love the enemy more than they love their own countrymen and their own posterity. Attorneys representing families of 9/11 victims today are informing a federal court in Manhattan that they are filing comprehensive evidence that Iran played a key role in planning and facilitating the 9/11 attacks and called on the U.S. Government to declassify documents detailing what the U.S. intelligence community knew about Iran’s relationship to al Qaeda prior to September 11, 2001. “Today, nearly a decade after the attacks that took so many of our loved ones away, we believe the 9/11 families and the American people deserve to know the full truth about Iran’s complicity,” said Thomas E. Mellon, Jr. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, law firm of Mellon Webster & Shelly, the lead attorney in Havlish, et al. v. bi Laden, et al., now pending in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan. “We simply want to make sure that those who are responsible for assisting the September 11 terrorists in their attack on the United States are found accountable for the harm they caused,” said Fiona Havlish whose husband, Donald, perished on the 101st floor of the North Tower Representing eight law firms from across the United States, the attorneys and their team of investigators have turned up convincing evidence that Imad Mughniyah was the main liaison between Iran’s leadership and al Qaeda and that Mughniyah played an active role in planning the 9/11 attacks. Mughniyah, a Lebanese Shiite, was a top commander in Hezbollah, the terrorist organization created and supported by Iran since the early 1980s. Mughniyah was assassinated on February 14, 2008, in Damascus, Syria. “Our experts, including three former 9/11 Commission staff members, have stated that the evidence is ‘clear and convincing’ that the Islamic Republic of Iran was involved in the 9/11 attacks,” said Timothy B. Fleming, the lead investigative attorney in the case, of the D.C. office of the firm Wiggins Childs Quinn & Pantazis. “The 9/11 Commission called for further investigation by the U.S. Government into the al Qaeda-Iran-Hezbollah relationship, but until now there’s been no indication that any government agency has taken any action to pursue this matter,” said Mellon. “Through interviews with former U.S. Government and intelligence officials, members of the 9/11 Commission staff, former Iranian intelligence officers, and a wide variety of non-governmental experts and fact witnesses, we have undertaken this ‘further investigation,’” Mellon added. Before 9/11, the FBI considered Mughniyah to be the world’s most wanted terrorist. The United States Government has accused Mughniyah of masterminding the April 1983 attack on the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, that killed 63 people; the October 1983 simultaneous attacks on the U.S. and French military barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. Marines and 58 French soldiers; and the kidnapping and murder of numerous U.S. hostages in Lebanon, including the CIA’s Beirut station chief William Buckley and U.S. Marine Lt. Colonel Richard Higgins. Mughniyah was also wanted by the FBI for his involvement in the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847 and the murder of U.S. Navy diver Robert Dean Stethem, and by Interpol for his role in the 1992 attack on the Israeli Embassy, and the July 1994 attack on the AMIA Jewish community center, both in Buenos Aires. Today, the Havlish attorneys disclosed that they have taken sworn testimony, which will be filed under seal, from former Iranian intelligence operatives describing the direct participation of Imad Mughniyah and top government officials of Iran in the planning of, and preparation for, the 9/11 attacks. These witnesses also describe the roles of Mughniyah and top Iranian officials in assisting al Qaeda leadership and operatives to escape from Afghanistan after the U.S.-led invasion in the wake of 9/11. Iran then provided safe haven and support for these al Qaeda members inside Iran. “The 9/11 Commission discovered, just days before publication of its report, important U.S. intelligence documents that detailed Iran’s involvement in aiding and abetting the 9/11 plot,” Mellon pointed out. On page 240 of its final report, the 9/11 Commission stated that “a senior Hezbollah operative visited Saudi Arabia to coordinate activities there,” and that this “senior Hezbollah operative” and his associate were on the same air flights as several of the future hijackers who were traveling to and from Iran between October 2000 and February 2001. “We have compelling evidence that the ‘senior Hezbollah operative’ was Imad Mughniyah,” added Dennis G. Pantazis, of the Birmingham, Alabama law firm of Wiggins Childs Quinn & Pantazis. “Imad Mughniyah was known to be an agent of Iran, running terrorist operations for Iran and Hezbollah. Mughniyah’s participation in the hijackers’ preparations for the 9/11 attacks leaves no doubt that Iran was directly involved in, and had foreknowledge of, a planned terrorist attack on the U.S.,” Mellon said. “Discoveries about Mughniyah’s role are very important because, as found by the 9/11 Commission, ‘after 9/11, Iran and Hezbollah wished to conceal any past evidence of cooperation with Sunni terrorists associated with al Qaeda,’” Fleming added. The Clerk of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has already entered a default against the Iranian government defendants, and the Havlish Plaintiffs now ask the Court, based on all the evidence, to enter judgment against Iran. The case appears as In Re Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001, Civil Action No. 03 MDL 1570 (GBD): Havlish, et al. v. bin Laden, et al., Civil Action No. 03-CV-9848 (GBD). Over the past nine years, the eight law firms of the Havlish consortium have invested thousands of hours of time to investigate Iran’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks. “When Tim Fleming and I joined this coalition of attorneys representing the 9/11 families, our immediate and ultimate goal was to provide the families with a full accounting of what happened, how it happened, and who was responsible for that terrible day in September 2001,” said Pantazis. “Developing evidence of Iran’s involvement with al Qaeda regarding the events of 9/11 is like putting together a large jigsaw puzzle where many of the pieces are missing and will never be found. Still, the picture is clear that Iran’s and Hezbollah’s complicity cannot be seriously challenged,” said Mellon. “Over the last nine years, after interviewing dozens of people, reviewing hundreds of documents, and consulting with many experts in the field, we have developed a strong evidentiary case of Iran’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks,” Mellon added “These families have waited nearly ten years to hear the truth. Under the scrutiny of a federal Judge, hopefully this will be accomplished in the next few months,” Pantazis said. Ellen Saracini, the widow of Victor Saracini, Captain of United Flight 175, which was the second aircraft to hit the World Trade Center, stated, “The September 11 attacks were an attack on the American way of life and on the American belief in a civil society where we respect others and resolve our differences in an orderly and peaceful way. It is only appropriate that those who are attacking our way of life are found accountable in our American system.” It's hard to explain any double digit approval number of the most disastrous presidency (both foreign and domestic) in our nation's history. But it speaks to the power of big media. Bush's unemployment was 4.6% and we were told what a horror it was. Everyone was working, prices were low, the country was safe and the left was sick with a form of mad cow disease called BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome). Here we are in an economic tsunami of bad news, and the Obama economy is being hailed as a recovery. And in what can only be diagnosed as stockholm syndrone, a ruby red district goes to a Democrat in a special elction in NY, a party that has proven time and time again to be the Defeat America party. And the media lauded that singular election as the second coming of Obama (while they negated the 600 legislative seats that went red not five months ago). America, snap out of it. You are walking into serfdom.

THANK YOU IS NOT ENOUGH.........
While America finds herself mired in three wars on this Memorial Day, and the 67th anniversary of D-Day approaches next week, many Americans do not know why we celebrate these events, other than they herald the unofficial start of Summer, picnics and holiday vacations.
Memorial Day is set aside as the day that America officially honors her warriors who have died in battle, past and present, so that the citizens of this greatest Nation would be free.
Historically, the President lays a wreath at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery on this day.
In the context of today, our younger generations will not understand the state of the world at that time, the Allied victory in WWII, nor, the significance of D-Day, the greatest military campaign in our nation's history. Most were not even born then and the date, 6 June 1944, seems like ancient history to them. The men who served in WWII are growing old and their numbers dwindle daily.
These brave men who landed on those hostile foreign shores would be disgusted to see what has become of their America today. We have, sadly, lost our way.
It appears that America has drifted from the course laid down by the Founders. We have lost that moral compass, confused as to our mission in the changing world since then, and are wandering in the wilderness. We know from history how that ancient story turned out. We do not know how this chapter will. Only the passage of time will reveal if we were on the right side of history.
When there is time for some quiet thought and reflection, I frequently go to the park. Though I call it a park, it's actually the Veteran's Section of the cemetery here. As I sit on the bench and look out over the garden of tiny red, white and blue American flags sprouting there, I think of these men we've lost. Visions of The Longest Day, Saving Private Ryan, and Blackhawk Down come to mind, as well as the iconic war images of photographer Robert Capa.
I know none of these men at rest here, who they were, how they lived, who they loved. But, I see some of those who loved them. They come here with flowers, flags and ribbons in hand, lingering at the markers to talk to their memories with tears in their eyes.
What I do know is that these men served their country in a time of crisis. We should be eternally grateful for their sacrifice. We are here today because they were there that day, and I'm certain that they expected us to carry on in their footsteps, entrusting us to preserve and protect this fragile freedom and liberty that is the hallmark of America. This freedom was not free, as the word falsely implies. It never was. It never will be. It always comes at a very high price. Sitting here today, I am looking at that price. All gave some. Some gave all.
I ask God to bless them. And to bless us now, that we might, again, find our way and restore America to the greatness of that time.
