I miss Bill Hicks.
If you don't know who he was, this video
will let you know.
If you knew him, I know you're clicking on
this one now.
Were we smarter 20 years ago?
Hicks sure was.
You'll be shocked at how clearly he saw the
whole game. With a few minor updates for
today, he'd still be ahead of the cutting edge.

Where is Bill Hicks when we need him? Filmed nearly twenty years ago
X-rate language alert for the easily offended
Bill Hicks (1961-1994)
What can be added to this?
We did arm the Iraqis and if Bush II & his fellow dirt bags were so certain they had weapons of mass destruction, it was because we (and the French and the Germans and the Russians) sold them to them.
But the joke was on us I guess. He said he destroyed them all and apparently he did.
1 million plus Iraqi civilians dead and now we're warming up for Libya and Pakistan and, what do you know, Afghanistan is the LONGEST WAR IN US HISTORY and there is no end in sight.
This "party" will come to an end some day and if anyone thinks the end is going to be pleasant for Americans they are in deep, deep denial.
What makes anyone above the mental age of five think that a government that routinely commits atrocities overseas will not some day decide it needs to commit them at home "for security?" |
