Week's Most Read Stories This week 97,892 visitors made 308,963 visits to view 474,673 pages – traffic is down some 10% with parliament in recess and the political and media class are on the beach. The top stories in order of popularity were:
The week kicked off on Monday with a saucy email that caused temperatures to rise at the European Parliament with allegations of sucking sluts around Klaus Welle, the Secrétaire Général. All was revealed in a Scandalous European Parliament Email.
Tuesday we admired the Guardian editor's pay rise despite his paper's million-pound-a-week losses and sung-along to Charmless Man, a tribute to Piers Morgan fit for Britain's Got Talent. Friday we opened fire on the Guardian's David Leigh over phone hacking. Turns out theGuardian was not above hacking itself. If convicted Leigh could face 2 years in jail. It turns out the News of the World hacked Maggie Thatcher's phones. The jails could soon be filled with former journalists, maybe Piers Morgan could organise a prison talent show...Restore Justice Death Penalty e-Petition
