Eight Wounded in Lebanon Bomb Blast

'A bomb blast at a Palestinian refugee camp close to the southern Lebanese port city of Sidon has left at least eight people injured. The bomb placed in a rubbish container at Ein el-Hilweh, the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, exploded on Monday, a Palestinian security official told AFP. Ein el-Hilweh is home to about 50,000 Palestinian refugees.'

'NATO Had Boots on Ground in Libya'

'An Israeli intelligence source says US and British forces had surrounded the hideout of former Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi two weeks before he was captured and killed.

On Monday, the Israeli intelligence news service DEBKA quoted US sources as saying that American drones kept the building in Gaddafi's hometown of Sirte under surveillance, while it was surrounded by US and British forces. The DEBKA underlined that both the US and the UK had boots on the ground in breach of the UN mandate which allowed the implementation of a no-fly zone over Libya.'

Most Brits Want Vote on EU Membership

'The poll carried out by the Guardian/ICM endorsed Conservative rebel MPs' position to hold an in-or-out referendum on Europe, to which some 70 percent said they wanted a vote on Britain's EU membership.

The results showed that 49 percent of voters would vote to get Britain out of Europe, while 40 percent said they prefer to stay in.

Among supporters of all three main parties, Conservatives endorsed a referendum by 71 percent, while the call for a referendum was endorsed by 65 percent of Labour party members, according to the poll.'
