The sad truth is that we already live in a global economy. Just go into just about any store across the United States and start picking up products to see where they were made. Very few of the things we buy are still made in the United States. Today, labor is a global commodity. American workers must now directly compete for jobs with those making slave labor wages in China and India. The fact that millions of U.S. jobs are being offshored and outsourced does not bother advocates of globalism at all because it is supposedly a beneficial thing for the overall global economy. And most Americans have little to no idea just how much influence international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the IMF and the WTO have over our daily lives. The truth is that we already live in a world that has been deeply, deeply integrated. As this continues, at some point it will only seem "natural" for America to agree to a true global currency and full global political integration. Let us hope that day never arrives. Or at least let us hope that the American people wake up enough to not just go passively into a "New World Order". This is old but it reminds us of one reason we are where we are and what the New World Order is.
The good thing about Soros is that he is a big mouth, stating what the rest of the elites only dare to think and discuss behind the scenes. He is really not all that smart and is giving away their secrets. But he is also a barometer showing how the elites are failing.

No nation or group of nations has ever succeeded by putting the interests of other nations ahead o their own. If they persist in the current trend, our elites will fail not only because China will outstrip us, but because the grassroots have no interest in, or enthusiasm for, the managed economy that is being imposed on us; there will not be enough energy behind the elitist plans to keep moving ahead with the suicidal schemes such as letting the dollar decline and deliberately weakening ourselves militarily.
