So I got a whole bunch of emails regarding the broken link to an
article on how to adjust Google's search history settings. I fixed
it. I hope. Somehow the web address of the article changed.
Now, Google's new policy is already in place, so if you didn't do
this before March 1st, then they've already begun building your
profile.
However, there is no reason you can't change your settings now and
limit their ability to continue gathering information.
Who knows if changing these setting will actually frustrate their
efforts?
I figure it's worth a try...
