Fox News Conservatives Lose Credibility
Except for Juan Williams, the liberal Fox News commentator who predicted an Obama win, the personalities on Fox News were wildly off the mark in their predictions for the election. Karl Rove, Fred Barnes, Michael Barone and Dick Morris had all predicted a Romney win. Generally speaking, they thought Republicans were more excited about Romney than Democrats were about Obama. This turned out to be a fatal miscalculation.

The Death of Reason
During the past week I spent a good deal of time outside the early voting center in Columbus. I saw the evidence of the complete breakdown of the election process. The cheating was obvious to anyone who took the time to notice. Obama-buses poured into the center weighted down with indigents from all across Franklin County. As the exited the bus they were handed a Democrat slate card and herded into the building........

Lessons from the Storm
First lesson: Government by its very nature is too big, too slow, too cumbersome, too far removed from the scene of the action, too easily distracted by politics, and too wasteful ever to be able to react swiftly and efficiently to emergencies. During a crisis and its aftermath, bad things happen fast. People wind up shivering in the dark because some clerk in Washington didn’t submit the right paperwork for fuel and blankets......
