Oldest Swiss Private Bank Pleads Guilty to Tax Evasion Collusion

'Switzerland's oldest private bank, Wegelin & Co, has pleaded guilty to helping American clients evade taxes through secret accounts.
Otto Bruderer, an official at the St. Gallen-based bank, entered the plea on one count of conspiracy in the United State’s Manhattan federal court on Thursday. “From about 2002 through about 2010, Wegelin agreed with certain US taxpayers to evade the US tax obligations of these US taxpayer clients, who filed false tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS),” Bruderer said.'
