Nigel Farage's UKIP On The Increasing European And Soviet Union Similarities

Tyler Durden's picture

From Margaret Thatcher's original (now extremely prescient) warning of the European Union's structure creating"insecurity, unemployment, national resentment, and ethnic conflict" to Nigel Farage's recent clarifications on the agonizing direction in which the unelected leadership of the Union are pulling Europe, this brief 3 minute clip draws some significantly eery similarities between the former Soviet Union and the current European Union. Every now and again, a step back to look for context in history is important - as while the Soviet Union was created by armed force, the European Union is being forced by political coercion and economic bullying. Perhaps Churchill summed up best how it should be, "We are with Europe, but not of it; we are linked but not combined; we are interested and associated but not absorbed."

Unless, of course, you read the earlier article that clearly showed the Fed pumping billions each month into "foreign banks," which then turn and buy Euros.
Trade accordingly.

Are you sure that all the banks aren't majority foreign owned?
Here si the twist of the plot you didn't expect...
Money from America's Marshall Plan financed the creation of the authoritarian European Commission and Union.
About the IMF and World Bank international banking cartel loan guarantee programs...  listen and weep...
Only the uninformed believe we are truly ruled by stupid people.
The rulers aren't uninformed, we are.
The international banking cartel billed Armicans to create their authoritarian governing system ove rin Europe and not one in 5,000 Americans have any idea they did that.
Machiavellian genius!

alas, this "freedom of the press" thing is more a continental vs anglophone cultural divide
in many continental european states there is anexpectation that the state "protects" the citizens from journalists telling lies
compare with the British-American tradition of putting reporters in a class of "untouchables" that can say whatever they want, and truth be damned, (or just not relevant)
can't say I ascribe to the continental view though I share the sensibilities - nevertheless in those countries - which include Finland, just as an example - you generally get news that were researched and confirmed, and a strongerdifferentiation between "this is the news, this is the fact" and "this is our commentary on it" - which is usually the scope of the thing
the down side of it is that a certain political correctnes can rear it's ugly side
different traditions and understandings

so what are those similarities mentioned?
- the "unelected" or "appointed" meme: it does build on not mentioning the details of how an eu commissioner is appointed by the government of a nation and then confirmed by the freely electedEU parliament - hardly the way of the SU, more like an US StateSec comes to office
- the gulag vs "intellectual gulag of political correctness" meme is a bit rich, methinks: Nigel can have his say in the EU parliament, can't he? SU gulags were something completely different, imho, and the comparison is idiotic
- "forget about nationalities" and "replace nation states" blablabla - now this is propaganda, pure and simple. how can we forget? a Dutch is a Dutch and a Portuguese is a Portuguese, and it might take hundreds of years to be less so. meanwhile most europeans like the confederative approach we are taking - which means that the national identities are here to stay, together with the national armies and so on
all in all a bunch of lies made more for UK/USdomestic consumption

The Soviet Union was created and sustained by lies, fraud, and genocide against white people by Jewish Bolsheviks/thugs paid by the WallStreet and the City Zionist Banking Mafia.
This could not last forever and it did not. Eventually, the Soviet Stated became so corrupt and unproductive that people wanted out: the Communist Party bosses wanted to “privatize” Soviet State properties into their own pockets and common people bought another Zionist bag of lies promising democracy and economic utopia. As a result, common people got another economic genocide and a fascist state political system.

"The Western world has lost its civil courage, both as a whole and separately, in each country, each government, each political party and of course in the United Nations. Such a decline in courage is particularly noticeable among the ruling groups and the intellectual elite, causing an impression of loss of courage by the entire society. Of course there are many courageous individuals but they have no determining influence on public life."
"Should one point out that from ancient times decline in courage has been considered the beginning of the end?" Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Highly amusing to see the Irish Political Classes groveling to their EU partners, looks like the money the Irish were made to spend to support the banks  (by the same self EU partners). On of course the nod and wink that it would be paid back to the pixieheads once this bank run craze blew over. HAHAHAHAHA.... Should have got that in writing. Thats how the EU works to those who are its Lickspittles.
“The European single currency is bound to fail, economically, politically and indeed socially, though the timing, occasion and full consequences are all necessarily still unclear.

I was born in England  of Irish parents who left circa 1950 for UK, had every holiday as a kid in Ireland 60's and 70's, it was poor as fuck, you take any American state from that era and it was poorer. But I loved it to bits best holidays i ever had. Last 15 years just a bank fuelled blimp, they will be shit poor again soon, and yes I know they think they are now but wait and see. Mate of mine in UK a bricklayer, yes a fucking bricklayer  just bought 6,  1 bed flats 15 mins from Dublin for 80k euro, all let...but for how long

That'll be 80k euros each. For the cheapest in europe it's Hungary and Bulgaria - still driveable from the UK in 2 days.

Best thing bout property in Ireland is there's no property tax. You buy it, it's yours, if you don't want electric you pay nothing after buying it.

Worst thing is it rains worse than England oh and the beer's fucking expensive. I'll be buying a caravan(trailer) when I retire and snowbirding uk to spain

I'm in the Uk and I wanted a line of credit from the bank, secured against family home which was free and clear. Told them the loan was to buy property. They refused. I left it a couple weeks, went back, saw someone different, told them it was for a holiday, a boat, and a motor caravan. Got GBP£100k immediately on an offset mortgage. Bought the property.

If people really want to understand, on a basic human level, what these fucks are up to check out Codex Alimentarius and the WTO.

The Commission represents the EU in the Codex Alimentarius Commission and its bodies.
The 27 EU countries are all members of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. In 2003, the European Community joined, sharing competence with EU countries depending on the level of harmonisation of the respective legislation. Since the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty on 1 December 2009, the EU replaced the European Community.
The EU and its Member States draw up EU position papers on the issues discussed in the Codex Alimentarius Commission, the various Codex Committees and Task Forces.
The Directorate-General Health & Consumers is the EU Codex contact point.

What does CODEX do?
The Codex Alimentarius Commission develops and adopts food standards that serve as reference for international food trade.
Some 185 countries are members and over 200 international NGOs and inter-governmental organisations are observers.
WTO members applying the Codex Alimentarius standards meet their obligations under the World Trade Organisation Agreement on Sanitary and Phyto-sanitary Measures (SPS Agreement).

Under Codex Food Irradiation is MANDATED and GMOs will be sold without labeling.
