From ministers to councillors, when politicians are told by officials they just have to hire silly non-jobs, goldplate regulations or spend a fortune paying staff to work for a trade union, it can be hard for them to get a second opinion. While the TPA's main job is still campaigning for changes in policy, the legal briefing this week shows a new way we can get things done in the meantime.

Public sector unions have thousands of activists working for them at your expense, an unfair waste of money. The rules need to change but this week we launched a new legal briefing showing how many public sector employers are failing to do what they can to control costs.

Meet other TPA supporters in Milton Keynes and Belfast, help us campaign in Bristol

TPA activists will be protesting against plans for a new workplace parking levy on 29 September in Bristol city centre.
