Philips is an overwhelming supporter of Israel and among it's closest, most respected friend among the intellectual right. She is a critic of Israel's hasbara. In this very clip you couldn't, for one second, mishear her comprehensive, vigorous love and support for everything Israel stands for. She says Israel isn't doing anything to explain itself to the world.

she is so right, and I am very glad she said it in the Israeli TV. Because, as she says herself: the Israeli media itself is part of the problem. And: I like also very much to hear her excellent British English.

Look what tiny Israel has accomlished. Its founders drained the swamps and cleared the deserts to create a thriving society. Anyone who reads knows that Muslims will NEVER accept a Jewish state due to the historic Jewish rejection of Mohammads propphethood. The peace process should be abandoned and those in the West Bank and Gaza should be moved to the already existing Palestinaian state which is JORDAN. To hell with islamic barbarians and their supremacist subterfuges!
- The transfer of wealth system in colonial, days up and into the 50's was simple... 1 - set up a dictator... 2 - Encourage him to plunder the country... 3 - Transfer the wealth to the Swiss Banks (and IMF ??) 4 - Account held in joint name with a Swiss National... 5 - Dump, oust or assassinate the dictator... 6 - Keep the mopney... 7 - Set up another dictator... Simple... being going on for years... Ever wondered who had the money after world war 2 to lend to Nations??

@FirstClearShot The Torah states that the messiah will lead the Jews back to Zion. I don't know where, sorry, I am most certainly not a biblical scholar. This is the reason though, that some Jewish sects oppose the modern state. Because it exists IN OPPOSITION to prophesy and is a blaspheme as such. Blasphemy or no, it is anti prophesy. I'm sure the text is easy to find. I'm afraid I don't have time thanks to Libya and general horror of Islam around the world today. I enjoy your comments though.
Isaiah 66 contains the phrase... 'can a Nation be brought forth at once'
'at once' in the context of this scripture means... 'united and brought together at a stroke'...
Interestingly too is that the value of the words 'at a stroke' has direct figurative application to the modern equivalent of legal ratification by 'signing' of documentation... This undeniably took place when Israel was 'brought forth' as it were via signed document proclaiming the establishment of the Jewish State of Israel
@FirstClearShot A half prophesy is the damnedest of lies perhaps? The state of Israel was predicted to be created by the Messiah. The reason so many religious Jews oppose the state of Israel, (See the N.K.) is because David Ben-Gurion, at least to them, was not the Messiah. It is easy to omit some details and look at the vague language of the bible and make peoples neck hair stand on end. I love a good horror movie myself. I even think the bible is very valuable. Predictions however, all failed

In truly defining what the full extent of the truth of a fulfilled prophecy actually means is not always, at first glance..easy...
The prophecy re Tyre is actually complete...
That which actually existed (the original city) absolutely no longer exists... The city was 'judged' as it were as if it were a 'living organism' - this 'organism' is now 'dead' - God did not say that no other city would ever be built...
@FirstClearShot According to the KJ, as I recall, it did say that no city shall ever be built upon the old. That it would be like the surface of a bare rock, a place for fishers to cast their nets and no trace of the old and no new city ever. As I recall. However the ruins are there, same as any ruins about that age and the new city is the 3rd largest in Lebanon. Nice hotels as well. If this is a completed prophesy than you can pretty much claim all are complete and the predictions have no value
